A COMPLETE SURRENDER TO THE DIVINE WILL.
A strange thing happened with me which I would like to share with my friends. For the past 11 years I have been working selflessly as a volunteer for the visually challenged individuals as well as attached with an NGO too. All these years I did not feel the necessity to earn some income as I was financially comfortable. Now as I have some difficulties and felt the need to earn money, hence I applied for a job in the same NGO for a post in the sales department on a salary of Rs. 5000. I was stunned to see the reactions of the employees by this decision of mine and eyebrows were raised at me. Some even said that "We have seen you as a volunteer for all these years, it will be difficult to see you as an employee in the same place".
I asked myself that don't I have the right to earn money. Should I not have financial difficulties? Does it mean that once I choose to be a volunteer then I should remain the same for my life time? Come on! I need money too. I don't have a bank balance nor do I have a flat of my own but I should not dream. I got agitated at first but later on I calmed down saying that this is the will of God Almighty. As He has chosen me for this task He will take care of my needs and surrendered myself to Him. I am more than sure that He will never let me down. Wish me all the best.
