Japan suffered a massive destruction of life, habitat, industry, trains and natural habitat when tsunami hit it on March 11th this year. The earthquake measured nearly 10 at victor scale. Japan has experienced Hiroshima and Nagasaki and yet recovered fast out of the crisis as one of the most developed nations. So has it recovered from many past earthquakes.
The Japanese archipelago is located in an area where several continental and oceanic plates meet. This is the cause of frequent earthquakes and the presence of many volcanoes and hot springs across Japan. If earthquakes occur below or close to the ocean, they may trigger tidal waves (tsunami). Buildings sustained the effects of the earthquake because of the strong base of their construction based on technology.
People all across the country have lost life, love, family, food and bear existence in Japan. The subsequent nuclear reactor radiations problems are escalating and affecting food and health of the Japanese. People are being tested after the radiation. USA and other nations have sent food and clothing help to them. Yet there is no food and life. It will take a lot of time for life to come back to the island.
The oldest bird of U.S.A., Laysan Albatross has survived the fatal tsunami of Japan and returned home safely. It is existed for 60 years. Tsunami did kill 2000 adult and 11000o chicks of albatross.
Japan will recover soon as it is proved in history. Nuclear fears have made other countries study the safety of their nuclear plants and the masses. Nature has become furier day by day and man must realize his deeds and fear Nature.
