Day 13
Friday the 13th… my lucky day… anything great happened with you? With me… nm… was home sulking in the bed… mom was not letting me cook… but finally… managed to hit the kitchen for a quick[actually not so quick] dinner.
We had guests come over today but I wasn’t keeping so well… plus they wanted to keep it simple so we didn’t really press much… ha-ha… Just kidding… ;)
So… I made moongi saabut today… the green colour whole daal?? Hope u guys know which one am talking about… I tell the names how it is said in my household. So those who know, will also know… this daal takes years to prepare… so you need to keep boiling it n adding water as per requirement… best thing is mom doesn’t uses Mr. Pressure Cooker for this… so obviously I didn’t use it too… n it makes things more chilled out for me… I get a cardiac workout everytime that thing whistles or sometimes forgets to whistle. So the daal was nicely done… my mom’s angry mood turned to a happy one when she saw the final product. So I pass with good grades. :D
Oh yeh… tagged along with plain aaloo coz mom said that’s the only thing that goes good with it… plus she had already boiled the potato before I entered the kitchen… or I could have made the guests happy by the mouthwatering shaahi-paneer I have mastered in making. He he…
Anyway, that was it from me today. What else did I do today besides lying in bed sulking… oh well played the Mahjong, Angry Birds, Memory Trainer, etc Droid games. ;)
When I grow up [a lil more LOL]… I am going to buy all types of games n have them stationed in my room, ready to be played anytime. Like Wii games, PS, PSP, etc etc… I use to play a lot of video games as a kid n played them really well. He he…
