Hey nice to read a review on the rare 350 twin.I have a yezdi too.. the model B. I have to congratulate you on having the time and patience to keep the bike running. However I do not think 2800 rpm peak is late by any means... its early if anything.how many bikes have a peak curve below 3000rpm?...?? And as far as points v/s CDI goes.. just as points break down easuily.. u can fix it easily.. whereas in the rare case a CDI screws up..ur stranded for good.. prs n cons of each. I feel if u knw ur bike then points is better.thats my opinion. And then there is always the joy of tuning the ignition. cheers tAvIsHRead More

For the people who doubt the famous claims that the wind125 matches Yamaha-rx performances.. i just did some drag tests after setting the clutch a bit.. from 0 - 60, she can beat the pulsar150, all 125cc ones, and match the rx100 and the unicorn. pulsar 180 and rx135s needs good riders to beat the w...ind.else its still a good fight.. believe it!!! The cbz and the karizma are clearly faster.. karizma was obvious but the CBZ really impressed me.Ofcourse except for the RX bikes, all other bikes overtake the wind125 after 65-70.. pulsars are tuned for midrange anyway.. but i just confirmed what they all say.. Wind125 rocks in pick up. By the way, using ameteur apparatus(friend and a stopwatch and some commonsense), the avg 0-60 timings i achieved is abt 5.3 secondsRead More

Man u really took time out for all that pulsar bashing. As it is the damned pulsars have become too common. The last 150cc with such a good engine was the original Fiero(mind u the ones now are different)... I would like to add here that suzuki is planning a launch of a 150cc... as in suzuki by i...tself not the old ind-suzuki.. i wud suggest any potential buyers to wait.. as it is we are having many new bikes in december.. but if u r in a hurry.. go for the unicorn. One other thing i wud like to add.... Its no wonder that people argue that pulsar switchgear is better than unicorn.. coz BAJAJ MAKES THE MOST KICKASS SWITCHGEAR ACROSS THE 2 WHEELER MARKET. No two ways abt it. the feel, the durability, ergonomics are above everyone else... but then ofcrse its not strong enough a reason to decide a bike.. Read More

I hate to discourage some substantioal effort but the fact remains that the revu sux. Mr.Enticer, bikes are not fashion models where u just need a good image and style. In fact ur attitude is pretty much like ur name-sake bike.. the enticer.. looks like a cruiser but is a measly 125cc... i cant beli...eve u put the suzuki max100 up there...Read More

Hey teher, I read ur review and comparing it to mine, i agree to two things, the brakes and the kick,,, i get a first kick start everyday too. As for other things i think ur bike is in a better condition, and i salute u for that.. not everyone respect their bikes nowadays.. just abuse it to show o...ff. But I am working hard on mine and am sure its just a matter of time before she is perfect. The bigets contrast is where i say its a hi-maintananace bike and u say its a no-maintanance bike.. actually i think there is no argument coz i am in the process of making her perfect coz i just bought it, I know for sure that after i finish everything she will break down with a lesser frequency than other bikes... because wherever things are simple they are beautiful. Lovely review man, fun to read. check out mine too.. keep rollingRead More

One fine day I am looking on baazee for interesting stuff.. I find this Yezdi and before I know it I have bought it. I will skip all the drama in buying and getting and testing and discovering it. hey guys.. about ten thousand kms after that review... i stick to wat i said... awesome bike.. but the rear suspension springs are all crap.. and there are different ones on different bikes.. but still the best bike in its class... its not selling anymore .. so u missed it if u did.. and i still sa...y that the discover sucks bigtime in front of the wind.. i rode both a lot.. one gear lesser, stupidest looking bike on earth, low riding position and bad cornering.. and also a silly tappet noise all the time..discover sux.but its got a good ignition timing mechanism... on the other hand it takes away the fun from riding.. its like the net nanny on the bike.. the similar crap TVS do to all their bikes for mileage.. not my kind of stuff.. and in case anyone respects my opinion, if u have a similar budget NOW, go for the unicorn.. if launched earlier it wud have been good competition for the wind125..Read More

hmmm..thats an interesting update ACHYUTA. though it is out of my understanding how discontinuing the indian sales will boost exports. in fact they have all the infrastructure in place...so they dont have to 'concentrate' on anything as such.anyways i appreciate the feedback....and as for the discov...ers performance...i beg to differ here...but no sense in a debate here...only time will tell for sure. thanx again.Read More

wow...i never expected such kind of prompt and honest feedback..thanx ppl. firstly, THEGREATONE, if u try hard, u can get bad mileage out of anything....what i meant is that the wind125 takes misbehaviour much more gracefully than other bikes. anyways thanx for the feedback and i seriously am shock...ed that some ppl are gettin 45 kpl out of it. my guesss here is that the fault lies in the riding.and the idling speed will only hamper the throttle response not the pickup. simply put, if u know when u want pick up, u can get it...just rev it! am sure its worth it unless r planning a bank robery getaway ;-) secondly, THEGOODONE, yes the only COMPARATIVE weak point seems to be the rear suspension but then its only a matter of adjusting it..u can use ur bare hands to do it..and if u r interested the wind ride quality is only slightly lesser than other bikes in its class...but all others are using the box-swing arm suspensions while the wind sticks to classic direct springs. imagine if we had box-arm springs here... but yes fact remains that this is something bajaj cud improve on. and finally, my friend TANMAY, dont u worry about the spares...am sure bajaj will take care of it..anyways bajaj is known 4 cross breeding..the wind's electricals are taken from the pulsar..the winds headlights are given to the boxer.. and if the present trend is anything to go by...all the parts of almost all bikes interfit....but thats a good point nevertheless.. any further questions -pls add ur comment.. and thanx againRead More

Under normal circumstances..I would have rated this review very highly but, my dear friend, i have just been to the bajaj website some days back. EVERYTHING IS JUST COPIED HERE FROM THE BAJAJ WEBSITE. HOW ELSE CAN BOTH THE WEBSITE AND HIM REFER TO THE SAME FAMOUS KAWASAKI BIKES.Idont have proof s...ince bajaj updated its site last week and changed everything. such members are shame to the otherwise great review website. To be fair...some lines were authentic and genuine. and let me add , they were good, showing the fact that the gentleman in question is good reviewer ... but i cant believe that whole paragraphs were copied here.Read More

Life is full of laws. You can't get a bike that gives a mileage of 100 and a power of a sportsbike. Ifyou can, then you have to pay fortune for tha technology. So keeping that in mindI would like to state here thatI believe any is 'good' or 'bad' depending what u want/need out of it. The wind...Read more
