Alloy wheels, man they are mandatory with indica, even if you get a rim one, i would say worth getting it. Simply because Indica steel rims are like paper. Our first trip with car and we returned with bend rims. Alloy wheels offer much more strength . The only concern is Tubetype tyre, which comes ...with it stock so it is recommended to get tyre change immediately. However don't expect good buyback as the size 165/65 14 is taken by no other car.Read More

While they are pricing their product cheap among all, once you cross 35K kms signs of something major coming to your car and pocket. From Tyres, Battery, Brake pads, Suspension Overhaul front + Rear, Clutch Overhaul(it was release baring, clutch being preventive, you know that no risk with tata) in ...next 35K kms. Apart from wear and tear parts , suspension and clutch was nightmare, so was the experience with tata folks.Read More

Vibration in low speed

Activa does face some higher noise from engine while running between 20-55km/h. However at high speeds like 60-70 it decreases as the wind noise overpower that noise. I haven't faced vibrations while running but engine noise is definitely on higher side. May be it could be adjusted or lowered by c...hanging the engine idle rpm to 1600 or 1500rpm(not sure) and re tuning tuning, changing spark plugs and air filter once an year, switching to better grade engine oil may help in reducing it. Indeed, Activa’s battery problem is quite common, it works for an year till it is in warranty, then after that it demands a recharge and battery service. In winters, it does give trouble and you may face initial cranking problems. My 1.5 years old activa gives this problem after one recharge and bat...tery service done but it has again started in winters and i think it would be replaced after scooter completing its 2 years.Read More

Well that's really good that you have been satisfied with car, We too have Asta 1.2 Petrol, undoubtedly loaded with features and shear comfort is really key part. The horn is loud enough if we listen it from outside, its the damping in the car that really don't make you listen the honking.

@nickandre , Green cotton filters, i would consider it. Already my driving is pretty firm and always switch to 5th gear when just above 40km/h.

considering about performance of i20. i must say after 2nd gear the car gives decent performance. but as in city we pull cars in 2nd gear so it isn't that responsive like others. since we also have zen and indica which too don't pull much like others in 2nd gear and requires higher rpm to move, so i...20's performance in 2nd gear is not troubling much for me. but yes the subsequent gears gives nice torque and car picks up nicely. since i own asta so i have adjusted driver seat according to me which doesn't troubles me. i am getting mileage of13kmpl easily. now no ac and steering rattle problem. overall a very good car.Read More
