I had the same issue when a family member had to choose between a Wagon R and a Santro. Do write back in sometime about how the car fares after a few months of usage.

It is a matter of record that all the worlds top two-wheeler makers and designers have clearly said :- It is shocking to see a pathetic product like the pulsar on sale. It cannot be sold in countries that have strict safety records as it cannot comply to any of their rules. What shocks ...Read more

Hi everyone. I am in Mumbai and I used exatt for 6 months when I took up cablenet here. Compared to other services offered here like pacenet/ sify/ vsnl, exatt is by a decent margin the cheapest. However when you see the prices advt. on their website www.exatt.com you realise that even ...Read more

Like I said, it is not at the zenith of what honda could have done with this bike and engine. And, bikes with double shock setup ARE more prone to wobble at speeds, failure, and imbalance. Your thinking in this matter is right.

It is sensible to buy a vehicle (indian/imported) only if you have the service facilities nearby. As for gear 6, I am habituated to it so maybe I am biased towards it. It can be given as option for a few extra bucks. When I say that monoshock may have to be changed, I mean that it will go soft... and springy quickly in heavy long term rough usage and so will have to be replaced by another monoshock (not by the std double shock). As for selfstart, a true bike need not even have a kick, can you think of kickstarting a Harley Davidson V-Rod? or a FatBoy? or even anything like a Hayabusa? kickstarts are passe unless you are in the value-economy-mileage segment.Read More

Hmmmm.... The Honda Unicorn 150 cc, one of the most awaited mobikes of the season in INDIA. Frankly, it is a letdown. It is indeed the best of the 150cc range available in INDIA, but it is not yet at the zenith of what Honda Ltd. can offer even in the value-for-money segment. Lets st...Read more

Well, the Fiero FX is not very different from the F2, it is just a bit longer and handles a bit better. The difference of the front fairing may (and does) affect the top speed of the bike by about 5kmph since is it not as aerodynamic as the F2. Other than this the looks are nice with the chro...Read more

Since the bike is derived from suzuki tech, in accordance with suzuki designs the disc brake is on left instead of right. It gives more safety in braking and helps in keeping balance.

As for tyres tat dont skid, the best are Pirelli MT66 series or Bridgestone S11 series, but they cost 3000+ per tyre so I did not mention them before. As for MRF Zapper users, ask them how many skids thay have on concrete roads, and how many kms they last. The above two last well over 35000 and are ...good upto 190kmph(rated). Any experienced driver (who has driven imp. bikes with more than 200cc) will tell you that Pulsar brakes have NO feedback and are truely bad with disc locking at mimimal response. Thats enough I guess. With reference to 5th gear, well, this bike does in 4 gears what others really struggle to do in 5, and still ends up with higher mileage, thats whay the co. isnt releasing gear no. 5, as it is expected to decimate all other 150cc population, future included, personally, i would like gear no. 6 too, with a top speed of 160-180kmph(100mph+). lets c what happens in 2004Read More
