As the movie progressed, I found myself really getting in touch with the 'gandhi' in myself, the title came staright from the heart!

I loved this serial too, as long as it was on the air, but for what ever reason zee tv decided to end it abruptly ( in US).
It is however a very well advocated serial. All the characters are developed with utmost care and are very real without all the unnecessary twists and turns.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your review. It was very well thought out and I especially congratulate your conclusions about the King Khan. It seems obvious once you have it out there, but it takes a keen eye to analyze a personality and I think you did a wonderful job at it..kudos......

I am in agreement with you, completely.
I watch this serial in the US at 8:30 ever night and I used plan dinner around it so I could watch this serial. Now I am just so bored I make plans to avoid it.

I agree with this review..Espeically about the acting part from aishwarya and the brutal murder of a classic novel..
Given and agreed ash is beautiful, but the film only works when she is cast as an epitome of beauty and fails miserably as a character, the sooner directors realize this truth, the... sooner we will be spared from such atrocities..
I also hope writers and directors stick with the original script and do justice to it rather than tearing it apart piece by piece, in which case, it is better if the promos never mention what original story the movie is related to, that way people who have actually read and enjoyed a novel do not have to endure the trauma of watching their favorite classic shredded to pieces
