This fresh airy storyline takes us to the fields of UP where “love” is harvested! Whisking us away from the boring and ever so superficial saas bahu kahanis, this love story takes us to a place most of us only wish we could go, and for a tele-serial to do that is hard but it is well done.
Anya shroff, the lead female character of the story is forced out of her fun filled city life into the village along with her sister, mother and grandmother GD. This is mainly due to the fact that her dear dad has been convicted of fraud and the whole family is on the run. After a failed attempt to escape to the city, Anya tries to adjust herself to village life. She still misses the glitz and glamour of city life, but she is trying…….In the meanwhile, village simpleton Raghu, who is initially enraged by Anya, discovers slowly and sweetly, that he is love with this bratty city girl…The innocence and honestly with which this transition is portrayed is where lies the strength of this story teller.
Having been a city girl myself and now living in the US, I truly appreciate the clean and clear thinking of the village people. This serial takes me back to those summer vacations when my grandma lived in the village. We visited her for 2-3 months every year and to this date those carefree days beat the pants off our Hawaii vacation we spent thousands of dollars on! Anyway, Jab Love hua has had a good start and so far really touches us in so many ways words cannot describe, see and enjoy for yourself….
