indian whiskies are mostly constituted of sugar or better yet molasses, hence in the international market we ae not allowed to sell our concoctions as whiskey bit as rum. Whiskey is a malt beverage, (like horlicks!). But that doesnt change the fact that our products are nonetheless very decent and... potable. and at 40% alcoholic strength, they arent the easiest of alcohols to taste. most people will tell you that they judge a whiskey by how 'smooth' it is. rarely does someone make out the different and distinct flavours within.anyways, if used as a cocktail base, trust me, very few will be discerned by the 'poison' used. i would rather use cheaper...oops i mean cost effective indian 'whiskies' rather than a Macallan or a Glen->!Read More
