I like to have a drink now and again. Am I perfect...far from it. Regardless, I'm a good person, I know right from wrong, I hold the door for people behind me, I make it into work during bad weather and I never screwed over anybody on purpose. I'm a living, breathing drunk and I have more morals... in my numb toe than most people have in their empty soul. Ashish2k, you are a shell of a human being and I pity you. You have no purpose and you are bitter towards people who write reviews on a website. Sorry your life sucks, get in line, blow me. What more can I say? I know....Drinking is bad....so is eating Twinkies....and swallowing anti-bacterial soap. Stupid bitch. Get smart and then pretend to lecture all of us stupid people.Read More

I consider Irish Whiskey the older, wiser sibling of all whiskey, including Scotch. The process for making this drink has been around for hundreds of years longer than other whiskey and has had plenty of time to improve upon itself.
There are three major differences between making Irish whisk...Read more

Your review had nothing to do with tasting a whiskey, just your obvious bias towards alcohol in general. What single malt whisky have you tasted? You didn't mention any in your review. If your looking for a soapbox to stand on and insult others please look into sending emails to yourself or Al-a...non or some other organization that can help you. I doubt mothers and/or fathers are out spending $40-$200 on bottles of single malt scotch so they can get drunk as they're children go hungry. A cheap bottle of some sweet scented dry wine can do the job for under $10 and still buy diapers for the kids.Read More

Some brief notes....
My first experience with single malt scotch was Glenfiddich. It is a Speyside Malt. Crisp, sweet, versatile and light-hearted whiskey which can be had on almost any occasion. Reasonably priced and worth every cent. If you've never had a single malt scotch then this is the...Read more

You have a very strong and/or numb tounge to be a fan of Chivas and Red Label Johnnie Walker. Ever try the black label? What about single malts? complex, flex, complex....

This review is based only on the 12 year aged blend.
Chivas Regal sounds expensive. The bottle looks expensive. The price is fairly expensive. The taste is up for debate.
I did not care for this particular blend. It was very syrupy and reminded me of novocaine. It has some serious body but...Read more

Yes, Black label is very consistent. I've purchased it in pints, liters, nippers, shots at bars....it always tastes the same. These people have a solid method for making good blended scotch.

There are 7 spices in life but I believe there are only 4 unique tasting drinks in this world that make leisure time worth living. Wine, beer, tequila and whiskey. While I'm not a big fan of tequila I have to concede that it is unique. Rum, vodka, gin and flavored liquor are all crap in my opini...Read more
