The Spice of Life. Review on Johnnie Walker Black Label

There are 7 spices in life but I believe there are only 4 unique tasting drinks in this world that make leisure time worth living. Wine, beer, tequila and whiskey. While I'm not a big fan of tequila I have to concede that it is unique. Rum, vodka, gin and flavored liquor are all crap in my opinion. They taste nice when you cover them up with soda or juice or milk but on their own or with ice they are just poor and pathetic.

My first experience with Johnnie Walker was the Red Label because it was rather inexpensive. It tasted like a barbecue gone out of control. A bit too harsh for my taste. Thankfully this did not deter me from taking the next step.

Black Label is pure candy for those who can appreciate a good drink. Smooth, sweet,pleasant....I could go on and on using words from a thesaurus or ripping off someone elses review about body and character and nose but simply put, this is good shit. If your searching for a blend with some soul in it then look no further. Black Label will not disappoint even the most hard-ass scotch snob.
