Bangalore Pubs .... Crazy !!! Should Pubs close down at 11pm
Awesome review and I couldn’t help but to comment on this one!!:D Strong words reflecting strong feeling.. For once I'm glad I'm in Mumbai! I never noticed the pathetic infrastructure in Bangalore till my last trip there.. I think the city needs to expand outward like Navi Mumbai. Mumba...i is no benchmark for infrastructure but somehow I feel Bangalore is choking with traffic! Let's hope some thing is done about this and FAST!! And the 11:00 pm rule is probably one way to reduce traffic on the roads especially MG road on weekends!! That's the only 'logical' reason I can see for this crazy rule which serves no purpose in erstwhile PUB CITY! Great review Karan!! Cheers n Take care, SeagreenRead More

A gripping international political thriller Broker, The - John Grisham
Great Review there!... I just finished reading the book and I must say reading your review was just as good as the book itself!... Extremely well written! I always find it difficult to write a review about a book as I dont know what I should mention and what to leave out... always wonder, am I givin...g the story away? or am I not saying enough? Yours has struck the perfect balance! Keep writing! Peace, SeagreenRead More

Master story teller Interpreter Of Maladies - Jhumpa Lahiri
Cool review! I just read this book a few days back...I'm not really into short stories, but I enjoyed each and every story in this book. The best thing I loved about this collection was the number of things left unsaid or to one's imagination. Awesome book and a great review! Cheers, Seagreen

Sangeet Cinema - Secunderabad's sweetheart!
(Updated Jan 10, 2006 02:56 PM)
Sangeet Cinema The twin cities, Hyderabad & Secunderabad, boast of having quite a large number of Cinema Halls/Theatres/Movie halls... Sangeet Cinema is one amongst the myriad available options, but is definitely one of the better ones. Sangeet plays mostly English movies; however, now and th...Read more

The Scary House! Garuda Mall - Bangalore
Hi Aanchal, Haven't been to Garuda Mall yet.. However, I don't intend to go to the 'Scary House'! Have seen something similar (actually just the door at Prasad's IMax Theatre in Hyderabad) but let's just say, I'm no 'Braveheart'!:) Watching Harry Potter movies scare me so I don't want to be a ...part of something 'real' like the 'Scary House'! Thoroughly enjoyed reading your review though! Excellent description! Take care, Seagreen:o)Read More
