Bangalore Pubs .... Crazy !!!

I wonder often that if I want to go out with my wife for a dance & perhaps a couple of drinks, exactly just why am I not allowed to do that? Why is it that I have to justify to peering eyes & disdainful looks(of the'authorities') when the pleasure I seek is so simple & uncomplicated?

I also wonder what could be the motivation of shutting down pubs(and in it, dancing) for an undisclosed, unknown period? If these guys(read:'authorities') cant make out the difference between sleazy dance bars & decent pubs; if they cant make out the difference between those who dance to sell & those who dance for honest clean fun, then what is it that I really can say .?

The bastards(again read:'authorities') cant manage the roads, cant manage the potholes, cant manage the lack of parking space in this city, cant even manage basic traffic flow on festivals, cant manage blocked underground sewers that overflow during rains; but they surely seem to know how to manage what requires no intrusion on their part.

It a debate but if you do think that dance bars corrupts the moral fabric of our society(perhaps even more that MP's taking money to raise questions), pls go ahead & close them. But for heavens sake dont be so darn, goddam dumb not to know the difference between places that sell obcenity & clean fun.

Sometimes I really wonder what age do we live in . to my mind I think it is one of'enlightened mental retardism'. Sure bangalore rock . just drive you car for 500 mtrs wherever you stay & you'll know what I mean.
