Politically Incorrect

Statements without logic Very interesting POV. I empathize with your feelings of frustration over the inaction. But it is not without reason. Having to take action would mean showing fortitude, losing coalition partners, taking a stand all requires leadership skills which most parties do not have. P...laying to the gallery (or certain sections) is what Mulayam and Laloo are trying to do in the face of Mayawati's onslaught. Every action they are making is calculated towards the next election and nothing more.Read More

there's no evidence of people in sri lanka worshipping ravan. most of them are buddhists there and the only hindus are the lankan tamils. some good points about reconsidering superstitions and finding out how valid they actually are. Good alternate thinking.

'How many of us will think about the dreams and ideals that we started out with and evaluate what many we have retained and gained over time ?' It is the truth that when banal copies of hollywood trite has been the focus of the gen next, its really great to watch such classics. Truth be told, i th...ought you were writing a review of the movie with the same name starring arshad Warsi :D ciao, mukundRead More

hey aditya, looks like after attending the movie premiere's you were seen on page3. nah just kidding. its a question of idealism and pragmatism. how can we maintain the balance is the question. But small fallacies add up to the big ocean. good thoughtful review there. ciao, mukund

hey mayank great review, after a long time a review on a book that was as brilliantly written as the book's theme itself. i've not read much of amitav ghosh's works, but will read this CC. the questions on the end are good, i think the indian writers are capable of getting out of the warp. Ronal...d ross and the saga of malaria is a topic we read in school and a new take on that needs to be executed well. but you did a great thing by not overtly recommending the book or trashing it. a good reader should be able to make his/her decision from the review. Awesome work again buddy. thx, mukundRead More

thats a great policy of avoiding yashraj films. if only more people wold do the same. but kya karen, the alternate films are also bad. the DCH analogy was good, yes i think the director made the film with a similar sense, but minus the story.

Well, I hope your friend doesn't mind my venting on such lazy filmmaking techniques. Thanks for forwarding the review though. I totally agree with your thought that films should provide entertainment, but they should focus on originality and innovation too. anyways, mukund

Thanks for the comments pal. work was getting hectic indeed. Satyam? are you in madras? The first half is good though, before the director decides to add many sitcom episodes to make it like a weepy feel good flick, anyways, mukund

Good review there Sonika, did'nt know that soft drinks could kill pests and rodents. I can see the headlines, 'Roaches which survived Nuclear holocaust wiped out by Pepsi' I'd drink Gatorade though, its a good energizing drink with electrolytes and vitamins. Good one there, mukund
