This is a nice intro to the sport. Some factual inaccuracies, but for the most part correct and expressed well.

I agree completely. Nice use of humor. Well done!

I understand what you are saying, and by the way, I have walked around with a nasty blister and played much more then a two hour tennis match. Regardless, I did consider everything you brought up. Despite that consideration, she still appears arrogant. I agree that she is under a lot of scrutiny,... however, so are many other pro tennis players. Even so, she is one of the very few to exhibit these qualities. Not only have I and my friends who are also tennis fans noticed it, her colleagues have also noticed and complained about it. The media has no reason for making her out to be an arrogant individual and not to do the same to other players in her field. I think that even with the attention and media scrutiny, she can and should handle herself better; it is possible to be competitive and not to come across arrogant.Read More

A story of mystery, murder, incest, and moral conflict, this play is a true work of genius. Words cannot describe how much one may enjoy this piece of literature. Serena Williams is no doubt one of the best womans tennis players to play the game. She is on a pace to set all kinds of records, however, I can't take her seriously until she gives herself an attitude check. I have trouble watching her arrogance shine through in interviews after a victory. She ...Read more

When was the last time Anna was anywhere near the top 10? The fact is, Anna Kournikouva was a decent player. However, there were several things that kept her from becoming what anyone would consider a good player. Despite her occasional appearances toward the top of the rankings, Anna never w...Read more

I agree with everything you said. In short, Anna is not a great tennis player as far as pros go. She is more of a model then a tennis player.

Although everything said is true, I do not know why you feel the way you do. I agree with everything that was said, but a person wanting to know why your opinions are what they are would have a difficult time.

Although I have no problem with watching baseball games on television or the time of the games, this has been a topic of discussion for a few years now. Often I see a baseball official sitting in the stands timing how long it takes for a batter to get up or for a pitch to be thrown. Many people ar...e upset with the legnth of baseball games and the amount of time between actions. More could've been written here explaining the details of the situation and what could be done to fix it. However, although short, the review focuses and introduces what many people consider to be a real problem in baseball.Read More

Although this article is thought out and I thoroughly realize the authors hate for the game, I have to respectfully disagree. First, the strike, although it is a huge problem in baseball, has occurred less then ten times in its over 100 year history. Although I agree that this is too much, it...Read more

If baseball is hitting a ball with a stick then basketball is throwing a ball at a round piece of metal, foot ball is throwing a funny egg shaped piece of material at another person and then running away from other guys that want to jump on top of you and hockey is trying to get a little round thing... past a guy so it hits a net. Also, although 65 is passing in school, by all standards getting a hit in baseball is more difficult. After studying and absorbing all the information on a topic, getting a 90 on a test may be simple, but getting over a .400 is baseball takes talent, instinct, practice, strategy and more. With all due respect, the argument is not valid and is not backed up at all.Read More

I love the attention to the defensive positions and the history of the sport. However, typos frequently distracted me and with the beginners approach to the article, I expected to hear about what a strike and a ball was, what the strike zone is and more about steals and walks. However, if you are ...looking for a short read just to get the jist of the sport, I do reccomend this article. Read More

This article is perfect for a beginner or novice that does not know the game of baseball well. It accurately describes each position and the players' basic responsibilities. However, I found some things to be factually incorrect, such as Hank Aarons home run total which is actually 755 and not 71...5. Also, the article fails to go into detail on the structure of Major League Baseball and the way a team may win the World Series, as winning the most games does not necessarily mean a championship. Also, the description of the positions could be more detailed. Despite these shortcomings, I still feel this article is valuable reading. The historical facts were useful, bringing up some things that I hadn't yet learned. I also love the fact that someone with absolutely no knowledge of the sport could read this article and possibly come out of it with enough knowledge to watch a game. This article may be very valuable for anyone looking to learn the basics of the game.Read More
