A story of mystery, murder, incest, and moral conflict, this play is a true work of genius. Words cannot describe how much one may enjoy this piece of literature. You are able to follow a young prince of Denmark through the mystery of his fathers murder, dealing with his uncle's speedy marriage to his mother and the suicide of his girlfriend. Accompanying these exciting plot twists are several moral questions and thoughts of suicide. In addition, the beautiful prose and poems of William Shakespeare are bound not to disappoint. Some of the most famous lines in literature appear in this play: ''To be or not to be, that is the question.'' ''...and this above all, to thine own self be true.'' These quotes are not only well known, but each introduce their own moral dilemma. I recommend this to anyone and everyone who is in the mood for adventure and questioning their own values. Hamlet is truly a work of Genius.
