I agree, it is very rare that doctors get punished for their negligence, I really want Dr Holla to be banned..he is a killer..but to be able to do that we all need to stand together..because, if one person tries to do so, manipal being a big org can bribe all levels and get away with it

Please read my review...Ihave undergone same thing..These hospitals are nothing but money suckign elements...I wish I had read this before we admitted my sister...I really have been trying to sue this hospital..I wish I am successful in doing so..

They are not only incapable of doing their job but also to stand by the truth..Dr. Holla should should be suspended to save Bangalore..

You think about Dr Holla and his reputation, can you even imagine the pain that a mother goes through seeing her young talented child suffering for 3 long months being with her 24X7 and in the last days she even was left in a condition where she was not ...even able to walk. A young girl who had just entered her prime and wanted to enjoy life meets this end not because of a mistake but because of NEGLIGENCE. Our lives are devastated and we have lost our happiness, peace and hope for the rest of our lives.Every moment my family is in anxiety and fear because of this.There is not even a single moment when we breathe freely. It might take ever to come out of the shock. If the hospital is ruined, you can get 100 more, If DR Holla’s career is ruined, he has lived his life 75 yrs, think about a girl’s struggle who used to work 18hrs a day to get into BITS Mesra, top the college there and get a job in one of the most reputed company’s at the age of 22 who lost everything. THis struggle includes mine too since I have been looking after her all thru this. Can we get those 22 yrs worth of efforts of mine and her back?She was Ms Fresher in her college and she had a BE. Hons, she could have served the nation since she was devoted to her profession not like Dr Holla. Our happiness has gone with her and it can never come back. You are trying to save the reputation which is already proven false by the other 51 reviews for the same hospital?
Even if Dr Holla had referred some other doctor/hospital, we would not have blamed him.. He didnt, to keep earning money at the cost of a young valuable life

@abresabe-Ok, I know you being a doctor, you are thinking from adoctor’s perspective and let me tell you I belong to a family where we have been taught to respect elders no matter what. But I honestly have... no other word for him.Even CMC Doctors could not save her, I do not post a review from them, She was under their care for 22 days, I still dont blame them
coz they tried their best but Dr. Holla- I have no words, after 2 mnths of hospitalization,Kidney abscess,MRSA,TB detected which are significantly high risk issues, he thinks the fever could be viral and you expect me to respect this illogical man?
She had written some notes about Holla in her death bed(Since she was so furious on the treatment she was being given) where one of her points was that she had to use a bed pan at the age of 22.Can you even imagine the amount of pain she and even my mom and my father had to go going thru this?She has written 8 letters where she mentions the incidents with Dr Holla where he didnt even listen to her questions.There are 1000 more points which can prove that he really is what I called him. He didnt even admit his mistake when a doctor himself proved him wrong- he said that the patient insisted on discharge that he missed the diagnosis. Is this not atrocious?

@stockdigger: you are absolutely right, it is indeed difficult to get to the doctors at CMC but they are really good, atleast not after money all the time.Thanks a lot for oyur review
@abrsabe: Let me ask you one thing- After 2 months of smoldering illness, when my sister goes back with a fever rel...apsed, should the doctor try to look for a reason or should he just avoid it by prescribing viral medicines? If you think this is logical, I'd not stop you from taking ur loved ones there. I would like to add that only 4 days after this(Dr Holla prescribing Viral fever medicines), CMC doctors found the endocarditis. If you think 2 mnths were not sufficient for this stupid or in 2 days it can become so easier for the CMC doctors that the diagnosis can change from a meagre Viral infection to fatal ENDOCARDITIS, I have nothing else to say.
I have all the reports if anyone wants to verify. Even so, I understand that doctors sometimes have to go by assumptions, but there are some protocols to be followed which were never even considered.And let me tell you, when I sent the questions on these protocols(Raised by a senior cardiologist in USA when he reviewed the reports) to the team for the explanation, they were unable to answer even one of them. I have the whole email conversation as well.
It looks like you are from the same inhuman 'moneymaking' business.I saw some more comments from you on people's bad experience on other hospitals where you have been trying to advocate for the hospitals.
