The IRCTC eticketing website is the most frustrating experience to attempt. Make sure you have plenty of time, a bunch of headache pills and a plan B in place before you start your frustrating-journey with this site. I have successfully registered and chosen my train tickets, put in all the pain...Read more

Thanks guys - yes, women can be great directors - remember Jane Campion and her wonderful film Piano? She was the second female director to be nominated. Other female nominees are Lina Wertmuller for 1976’s Seven Beauties, and Sofia Coppola for 2003’s Lost in Translation. ps. let me know what y...ou think of Up in the Air. I love George Clooney, pure eye-candy, but in my mind he always remains George Clooney and not the character he is supposed to be in any given movie. Mr Clooney has a deft, light touch that is charming and the roles he mostly plays suit his persona and no one has any complaints. Up in the Air is...Read more

Something to do and know upfront - Do not watch this film at home. This one needs undivided attention and the hush of a movie theater for full impact and appreciation. See it on DVD with frequent interruptions and you’ll end up wondering what the hype has been all about. James Cameron’s ex-wi...Read more

Hatred for KJo and srk? Where did that come from? I am happy they make movies they believe in and they seem like nice guys. I just don't like this particular movie for all the reasons I have already given, which obviously you fail to comprehend since you are asking for more! Moviezombie - ha ha! 3 ...idiots worked for completely different reasons and relatively speaking, it stands out from the heap. I love a three hankey melodrama as much as the next fellow Indian - its just that I don't like THIS particular melodrama with its fake sincerity. Its my entirely subjective take to it and I doubt if this makes any sense to you either!Read More

After an overlong wait, Sigma opened its doors some months ago. Was eagerly awaited by folks staying this side of town, mainly because of easier access to movies and inexpensive eating out [via the food court]. The opening went relatively unnoticed and the mall itself limped into existence with ...Read more
