I have a similar issue right now, they swear that I only uploaded one picture for a 32 pages photobook and that it is why they printed only that same picture on 32 pages...never mind it is impossible to upload just one picture in their photo book designer interface, I am apparently the one who did i...t wrong! Now they want me to place a fresh order rather than fix the problem themselves. Needless to say I am asking for a refund, which I am not even sure I will see. :-(Read More

However I am still in the middle of the worst possible scenario with them, and that has made me not to want to ever order with them again. On 30th October I crea...Read more

Well siad, I just had a horrible experience with them today, they never left even a notice in my case, it's only going through their tracking website page that I saw they tried to came, I was out just to buy a few groceries the day they claimed they came, they never even called me. When I called the... customer service people to know if and when a delivery would be attempted they gave me 3 invalid numbers to try, then when I scolded them the lady informed me it wasn;t their job to handle customer service. makes me wonder if we should just keep an astrologer handy to predict when a courrier will come so we can be there to bow to them!Read More

There are cheap brand everywhere, and people should be very careful with unbranded goods indeed, but I used first cry for toys from Fisher Price and they are great, ordered a 7000 rupees dora kitchen with them and it was as quickly delivered as any other goods from their site. Trusted brands like Fi...sher Price, Crayola, V-tech for toys, and Chicco and Graco for baby gear are internationnaly trusted brands that meet the strict European norms and are safe to buy. It's those brands like ''Sun baby'' ''mee mee'' and ''first step'' that one should be scared about, they have some very unsafe baby products and arent't even that much cheaper than a big international brandRead More

Anu_gk, yes the mother sales are really good and you get a lot of stuff at a great discount, keep that in mind once baby arrives, the baby clothes are of really good quality and can be worn a long time because the sizes are big. I have one maternity top from mothercare, and it was the best purchas...e meternity clothes wise, I ended up wearing this one long after birth too as it was hiding my not quite back into shape tummy and still looked very attractive, I just put it back in the maternity wear box last month and I gave birth last July.Read More

Ok word of advice here : DO NOT launch a store chain unless you have everything planned an under control. The only reason HomeTown is still alive is because somehow the Indian market is full of cheats. Would you have tried opening the store as it is in any other country it would have flopped within... 2 months and you would have ended up with a whole bunch of lawsuits. And I do not believe one minute that you studied other retail chains abroad, and what is this non-sense about adapting it to the Indian market? Are you seriously thinking that Indians are more keen on being cheated and therfore you can allow incompetent staff, awful logistics, and fishy return and refund policy to be the norm? Please!Read More

Religious Harmony In India ...

Apr 13, 2009 10:37 AM

Great Review As a Swiss lady of Christian faith married to an Indian man of Hindu faith, secularism rule in my household. I think it's about time kids in school are thought to respect differences, but sadly it is not a thing that need to be done only in India, there are many religious tensions in Eu...rope as well and I think Philosophy should be taught early on and have as much place in the curriculum as Math, Physics and Languages. It would also help if politicians stopped once and for all to base their campaign on dividing citizens into ethnic and religious groups and embraced the constitution and set and example for the masses.Read More

I'm quite surprised at your review, I'm a foreigner, and Bon SOuth might be the only place I didn't find the food spicy at all, we orderd a selection of veg and non veg dishes, none came with a fiery hot taste. I also want to mention I didn't ask the waiter for less spicy stuff as I'm the type who h...andles spice extremly well. Hubby is Indian and so was our friend who joined us.
