The O-General ACs will pretty much last forever. We also have an O-General and a National AC in our flat and they have been around for 10-15 years atleast and they’re just going on and on. They haven’t been serviced for years (can’t remember when they were last serviced) and they have lasted through... pretty much everything. I got a Samsung a year and a half ago and it just went off one fine day. When I went to get it repaired they said the gas has to be refilled and the compressor coils are rusted and needs to be replaced and gave me an estimate of Rs. 7,500. I told him to go **** himself and asked for my AC back. Can you imagine, In 1 and a half years he gives a repair bill of 7,500!!!! Nowadays these companies make absolute trash. They just don’t make em like they used to. I'll go and buy a Hitachi and hope it doesn't stink like the rest of the trash these companies make.Read More

Unfortunately, that's pretty much the case with all companies. They won't give you an inch unless you fight for it.
