W960i is a wonderful phone with few niggles, but if u r not convinced then thr is a new model which just got released in Dubai, the G900 which is touchscreen, 5mp cam phone with all walkman, cybershot & business phone features. This phone should cost u around 20-22k. There r few other... good models too look at like W890 & G700. Check these out if they are available in India.

Ur review has been very modest & u have written abt the important features honestly which the prospective cbz buyers wud look for. I m sure ur review will help lot of guys who r confused abt the new cbz xtreme.

Thanx all for ur genuine & valuable response. This is y i'v become die hard fan of MS.
I did own a Caliber 115 till mid of 2005 which I had to sell off since I had to move to Dubai. Thats when I felt the pinch of owning a Bajaj. I sold the 1yr old bike for mere 18k which I had bought at 43k. Tho...ugh a good bike (ofcourse came with the heriditory crappy gearbox & horrible service) I was shocked at its value depriciation. Thats when i said to myself 'Never to Bajaj again'.
Now I m returning back & settling down in my hometown Bangalore in Feb, so I started my bike hunt since few days. I did my R&D but MS is really been my eye opener. Since i still have another month's time, I will keep my options open for any of the 3. Hopefully by then Unicorn-2 & Karizma-2 hits the road, that will make my decison easier.
Till then if u guys discover something really intresting & a factor that could affect my decision, pls post it here. I m sure ur small/big info will help a lot of other ppl in buying a ryt bike.

go to settings, under the general options u will find locks & under the locks option u have 3 options lock for ur sim, lock for ur phone & keypad lock. note that u cannot set timing for the keypad lock as it is not customizable. its locks automatically after 5 seconds.
another thing for ur info o...nly, the symbian mobiles from nokia do not have a keypad lock option. u got to buy an external software.Read More

hey mate,
i guess u r a nokia loyal or u do not own w810i cos ur review sounds totally biased.
1) i agree with u that protection for the camera is definitely a concern, i have also ended up with some scratches but trust me pal it has not affected the quality of the fotos at all.
2) file tr...ansfer is very comfortable process with 810i. i have worked on motorola v3x & nokia n70 but i have found that working on 810i is more comfortable & convinient. there is no chance that u cant find any file or application that u transfer to ur mobile.
3) as far the radio thing is concerned, come on pal no mobile can play radio on its speaker cos it needs an antenna & the earphones act as an antenna. no mobile comes with inbuilt radio antennas.
4) yes this has got 1 port for connecting ur earphones, cable, charger, etc. safety use instructions clearly state that one should not put on ear piece while charging mobile. its unsafe. one good thing with w810i is, it gets charged while u have it connected to ur pc.
5) battery life is too good. i play music all the time, do lot of talkings & play games but still i charge it once in 3 days.
6) ya i agree that profile setup had to be more customizable but still this is not such a big problem.
on the whole this is definitely a good phone to have if u r music lover, ya it would have been so good if it had been little cheaper lol!!

having a lens camera in the long run becomes necessary cos u always keep ur mobile backside facing down & the lens cover will surely get scratched. my w810i has got some scratches already, but luckily the picture quality is not affected. now i m planning to put on a good mobile cover.
the duration... of recording the video depends on the memory card capacity. if u have 1 gb card u can aproximately record a video for 1hr (depending on the resolution ofcourse).
both w800i & k750i are good phones. but if u r a music lover u shud go for a w800i or infact w810i otherwise k750i is there for u.Read More
