I have been shuttling thru different sites, talking to people, doing my research & analysis on bikes in India. I m intending buy a new bike in Feb & all I need is

1) Good Power & Pickup (150cc & Above)

2) Refined trouble free engine

3) Good after sales service

4) Avg milage of 40 km/l

5) Durability

6) Cost b/w 60k to 70k

7) Should be of Honda or HH label

After all my R&D I have narrowed down to 3 bikes. I have listed them down with their pros & cons.

1) Honda Unicorn

Pros : Honda label, Refined engine, Mono Shocks, Good milage & Consistent performance.

Cons : Horrible service, Unproportional quality of electricals (Lightings, Horns, Etc), Rusting Wheel Rims & Inferior plasticky body.

Unicorn remains to be my first choice cos its a bike for a matured biker. Its a very consistent performer & trouble free bike. It lacks alloy wheels (was told that honda will launch unicorn with alloy wheels & some new gizmos, but not sure when). The biggest negative factor is the honda's horrible after sales service.

2) HH CBZ Xtreme

Pros : 14.5 Bhp, 8500 rpm, Fastest & most powerful in its category, Reliable HH after sales service, nation wide spares & service availability & HH makes consistently performing durable bikes.

Cons : Not in many numbers in the market & has been mostly criticized for its looks. Doubted abt its consistency of power & milage.

Hopefully this bike does well agnst its competitors like pulsar, apache & unicorn as well.

3) HH Karizma F1 (The lastest version)

Pros : Fastest sporty bike in India, 223 cc, 17 bhp, killer looks, comfortable riding & agn the benifits of HH label.

Cons : Cost - above 80k, low milage 30 -35 km/l (edited!!!)

Wish if this was some 70k & could give a consistent milage of 40 km/l atleast. I have no idea whether the new version of Karizma F1 is released??

Now I need a second opinion & mouthshut is the best platform. So guys pls suggest me which of the above 3 & why??? Kindly correct me where ever I have gone wrong in my above observations.

Warm Regards

Shiva
