Well guys, time to update with more cos I have completed little more than a month with SE W810i & I have many things to share. Moreover i have been getting queries from ppl, so here it goes :
1) This mobile works fantastic in all areas guys, its killer looks catches everybody's eyes & make them envy me.
2) I have loaded it with 70 songs, 20 games & some themes by which i have used up some 400 mb space & I m left with some 115 mb free space & its never been slow. It just works fine. (If u want some free games & applications u can download them for free at https://getjar.com but they r not that great, good ones come at cost). Download the application on ur pc, transfer it to ur phone choose the location & install the application & u r ready to go.
3) I do not intend to setup wap on my mobile cos internet charges r little expensive here in dubai & moreover I have 24 hrs internet access at my office. One grievience is all softwares on se website comes at cost & can be downloaded only of u have set ewap on ur phone, so its useless for me.
4) I have faced problem upgrading my mobile with the latest software cos the procedure is sick. U have to pull out ur sim, connect ur mobile to ur pc while keeping the 'c' button pressed, but everytime I tried it went to the phone / file transfer mode. Till now I have not been able to update my mobile, anyways does not matter cos I have no probs as of now & I have a feeling that my mobile has come with the latest software upgrade cos its pretty new. But will try again after couple of months.
Its got some great things u wont find in any other mobiles like
a) The orbit theme, its just fantastic. U will love this this theme its goes so well with the mobile, it makes it look much beautiful.
b) The walkman player is fantastic, u can skip, fast forward, shuffle & manage songs as u like. The shortcut button & buttons on the sides makes it so comfortable to use it. Its truely a walkman mobile. I guess ipods, irivers will soon get extinct with entry of such mobiles.
c) Even after loading it with so many songs, games & stuff, it still works fast compared to any nokia mobiles (symbians). I m so sure cos one of my pals got N70 & I have worked on it too.
d) PC to Mobile transactions r so fast & so easy that even a kid can handle it.
e) The camera is just fantastic, it can easily replace a basic digital camera. It does everything for u.
f) The battery is too good guys, I have played songs on the speaker phone continously for 5-6 hrs & did some talking but the battery never dried down to nil. I still had 20% of the battery life. On an average I charge once in 3 days.
There are few things u cant do with ur mobile like
a) You cant use it as a webcam.
b) U cant install real player or any media player so certain media formats cant be played.
c) U wont find many softwares / applications for ur mobile as compared to any symbian mobiles.
d) The ringer volume & the vibration is very low & meek. I have missed lot of calls cos I could not feel or hear the incoming calls. At crowded places I m sure u will miss ur calls.
But all of the above cons are being overuled by the pros of this mobile. To conclude all I can say is this mobile is best that se has ever come up with as this works fantastic in most of the areas. SE has come a long way, kudos to its R&D dept. I m sure that SE will lead the mobile industry soon. Now I m sure that I will never return to Nokia.

Finally got my hands on this master piece 2 weeks ago & trust me folks this is the best mobile I could have ever had. I was a nokia loyal till I convinced myself & bought se w810i.
In dubai (I work in dubai..) its sold at Dhs 1200 (Rs 14400) with warranty. I bought this at Dhs 1015 (Rs 12000) without warranty (Malaysian make) as it is not valid in India.
The key features that I liked are :
1) 2 mp camera - best in its category, this works awesome in nights.
2) Walkman player - plays your videos & audios. managing your playlists with this is fun. its got a dedicated orange button on the keypad which is again very useful.
3) Radio - with rds, ofcourse u can save your favorite channels.
4) Mega bass - this is just fantastic guys, when u put on ur earphones & listen to the songs with mega bass u will feel every sound so clear & u can even feel the sound travel from one side to the other side.
5) The dedicated shortcuts metallic button - This is very useful to access the features that u wud frequently use with just one click.
6) The keypad - I have heard lot of ppl complaining abt this. but this works fantastic for me. the buttons are not flat but its popped upwards. there is sufficient gap b/w every button. u wud never press a wrong button. another best thing is this does not have the joystick which tends to get horrible to use after few months. on the whole the kep pad is just wonderful to use.
7) The screen - its fantastic ppl, it displays some 2.4 lac colors, the videos are of 15 fps which is fine. the icons are displayed elegantly & moving thru them is wonderful. nokia users will find it lil difficult initialy but once used to it u will love it.
8) Battery - since new, I have been using it heavily i.e. 3 hrs of music, 1 hr of games, 1 hr of other features & lil talking & I had to charge it the third day. I m sure the battery for an avg user will last for atleast 3-4 days.
9) Accessories provided with the phone - the ear phones are fantastic, once u put them on all sounds outside will fade off & u will just hear good quality music. 512 mb mmc which is sufficient for an avg user, charger & additional cable to connect ur mobile to ur tv, I used it to listen to music & it works fantastic with my sony tv.
10) PC to mobile synchronizations - installing the softwares dint take much efforts, my laptop easily detected my mobile once connected thru the cable. transferring songs & photos was pretty easy. I have still not laid my hands on synchronizing my mail account, calender & to do list. will update u guys once I do it.
I m yet to explore all the features & options like accessing mails, web browsing & downloading softwares, will update u once I do it.
To list few cons they would be :
1) U cannot assign videos to callers
2) It lacks a front view camera for video calling.
3) No shutter for the camera.
4) Compared to nokia n70 / n72 which also has 2 mp camera, the day photos are of little inferior quality.
5) The vibration cant be felt always as its very meek.
So guys, thats my observation & experiences of 2 weeks, there could be more pros & cons which I will regularly update. I hope this would b useful for ppl who r thinking abt buying this mobile. I highly reccomend this mobile as its got everything & it will stay for a while with u.
