6th gear will mostly be no better than the 5th, being an OD gear.

Rajesh, I like the fact that you have noticed it. But one thing you have not noticed is that although RD 350 no doubt is quick and awesome, it is not suitable for all Indian riders, Indian fuel, Indian garages, Indian roads and Indian pollution. I seriously Love an RD and am also searching for on...e. But tell me, how many of them do you see on road? And how would you like the Police catch u for the fact that it is a 2 Stroke, emitting lot of smoke, consuming high amounts of fuel?? Dude, it is not a common bike for Indians and that way, even the Shogun and Samurai are not in my list. NitinRead More

The new CBZ is 14.5 Bhp approx and the looks suck. It is not the good old CBZ that I (and many other proud ppl) own. BTW, dude, you need to understand the difference b/w torque, force and pressure. When u say Nm, it is only a measure. Newton = Kg * 9.8 m/s/s. Now, if u were to say Nm, it is as go...od as Kg*m*m/s*s. This implies it most certainly is a function associated with time. In-fact time square. But only inversely. Secondly, an engine with most torque doesnt necessarily mean the best. The engine which produces torque early on is the best. Again, Early or Late all relate to time. It doesnt look neat when ppl quarrel without learning anything from anyone. NitinRead More

Well written. Maybe a lot more features can be highlighted in here. But anyways, not an issue. This review clearly makes sure what Sony Ericsson can offer for a price as little as 8500, when the 'once famous' Nokia 6600 has only a few of these features but nearly 1.5K more expensive. Keep up the ...good work. NitinRead More

And another aspect. Zen is not bad in braking nor is it worse than WagonR or Santros when compared to Bodywork... All these are the same. Oh !! and BTW, the design of Alto's basic bodywork is taken from the Zen. Which means, a Zen is just as safe as an alto and other such cars. Braking only needs... experience to feel comfortable is what I've said. If u also feel nervous by reading the rvu, go drive a lot and gain experience yourself. NitinRead More

I'm commenting late here. But dude, I still feel you are proving your points. U know maybe 10 years ago some one said the same like you. Long live the 'Zens'. I can take the same for Santros. Maybe a little for Wagon Rs. But for Indica Turbos?? C'mon man. Gimme a break... Indicas never live long. Th...ey're not meant to be. NitinRead More

Dude, Dont shampoo wash always... your paint will then become like 'Shine after a wash, whine after drying'. Do it like once in 3 washes, once in 2 washes 1 coat of good wax polish (not the liquid one). And after every thorough wash (in a service station), apply 2 coats of the same wax polish. Your... bike should retain color for a decent duration more than otherwise. NitinRead More

Yup dude. Very well said about the Pulsar's marketting and their mostly 'WRONG' targets. And yeah, now is the time when we will have some really sensible reviews of Apache. Some time in the market, some experiences and some miles on the odometer. Guess Yamaha has shelved their proposal of Glad... 150 and Fazer 250 for now. Maybe another year or so to go b4 their launch. That's the rumour for now. Loads of goodies from the HH stables I hear. a CBZ 180 and a ZMA 300. Dunno how much is true though. NitinRead More

Yep dude. I think MS folks have mis-interpreted Envyram's review. He had used reverse engineering to prove his points there and hence MS folks thought he is preaching anti-MS theories there in his review. About Anand, he is very confident in the points he knows very. He will make sure the other g...uy learns it. Hard way or the soft way. BTW, congrats for writing the 100th comment on this rvu :) NitinRead More

I am not challenging your thoughts about VFM. I know Maruti is always the best VFM in India. I just mentioned, if you have to look outside of the category, what else you can buy. Nitin P.S. am about to read your part II now.

Not a bad way of making ourselves famous. Dude, Dulan, please check envyram's review on Writing Reviews in Mouthshut. That is a really good one. His first 5 chapters we can follow and become holy star writers. What say? Nitin

I think 96 is not the record. There is one review by anand on the ZMA which has more than 3 digit number of comments. I think that can stand a chance to win the most comments award of the biking section. Right anand?? Nitin

Good review. You've put up mainly how to buy a car. And 30% of the car. It would be good to add more points about the car as such. Maintenance, performance, mileage and spares. I love the engine on the baleno. But, frankly, like u said, looks kill it. A good med sized car these days would be the Toy...ota Corolla or the Aveo. If premium class is what you want, maybe Civic is scintillating NitinRead More

Abe!!! I know what bikes u own :-D. But I didn;t know which of these two you were talking of when u said ur mileage lowers. And yes, you said right. Comet is no where near the RD. Nitin

Dunno which bike you're talking of. My CBZ certainly gives me more mileage in highways. I mean, I ride at same revs in city also ;). But that is a different issue. I mean, I get at least a difference of around 4-5 Kmpl a litre. Aur, agar u r getting 25 Kmpl, maybe you should ride an RD at sane speed...s (like 100-110). You should get that mileage there itself. Same speed, loads of reserve power, and still, the pride of making ppl behind you taste blue smoke :-D NitinRead More

RD 350 HT is known to have achieved a maximum of 110 Mph. which translates to something like 180 Kmph approx. Can we ride that fast in India? No! is the answer, but yes, RD can beat the comet. Nitin

Karan, well said. I understand what you mean. In fact, I have the same thing on mind. I've come to an agreement with my garage owner that I'll use any bike which is 'For Sale' for about 200 - 250 Kms and then decide if it is worth the money or not. Thanks for your piece of advise. Nitin P.S. ...Not 180, even a Comet shouldn't be able to catch this monster. BTW, I had caught one such RD on my stock CBZ. That fellow later became my frnd and he said he sold the bike the very next day and bought another HT. This time, it does upto 150 Kmph without a heavy breath (the bad bike went no faster than 90 Kmph) :DRead More
