egleeyeson. If you read it carefuly and have ur so called ’’practical aspects of thinking still working’’ the review is focused mainly on a service called Global Easy buy.The review is written after comparison with a variety of alternatives including shopandship.com by aramex which offer similar ser...vices. To make it simple for your ’’poor practical thinking’’ it means that the prices given for purchasing from abroad(for any item not only rare one’s) is too high (almost double the prices listed in ebay usa which is not justifiable,.. You can get it shipped to India by paying an additional 10$ via shopandship?? non availability of a product IN INDIA DOES’NT QUALIFY for extortion rates my friend! esp. since other similar services are available. Global Easy buy NEVER clarifies anything before and after selling(this is not based on single purchase).There is no way to ask the seller in GEB as well.You read the feedbacks for them in ebay itself and you will see that majority of the issues is because of poor response, and when it comes to refund/returns in GEB cases, ebay makes a fool of its buyers by denying it blindly without a reason(even though their terms boast clearly of a refund without question as given in my review(taken from ebay site), I requested a refund the next day I received the item and they refused ?)). And about the checks that you mentioned how will you "check" every product by merely looking at pics in ebay(For eg say I’m selling 7.1 channel headphones with warranty, how will you verify its function in ebay?). Please clarify. (thats why proper refund policy is impt for online stores). And one more thing ’SELLER’ is not a single entity but 1000’s or more in ebay.Do you think everyone is credible? NO. So don’t give broad opinions based on single purchase and put it in ur "nutshell". I totally agree. I too feel better shopping in Total especially the one in Sarjapur (atleast I got my washing machine serviced in a single call with Total). I bought a euroclean vacuum cleaner from Star Bazaar and became a bakra buying the extended warranty(I'm not sure what his 'extended' means). I...ts not working in a few months and I tried calling all the numbers of star bazaar given in the bill and none were working .I took the bloody thing and went to Star as I was left with no options. The customer care wasted 40 minutes of my time just to find out the service details and the service center location and finally comes up with a stupid excuse that if its a big item they collect from home or otherwise we have to carry it in and that too to some stupid service center in some lane in some place that I don't know. They sell these products there and they don’t know where Eureka forbe’s service center is??? After selling the extended warranty they don’t do the courtesy of picking up the item for customers and directs people to some place and that too after wasting 40 mins of my time(I could've browsed and found it out myself).
