I want to go for PMP and in the process to find out the review comments about knowledgewoood. I have read the complaint but somehow not very convinced.
Every institute maintains the minimum number of strength for starting a batch. They communicated, by email and even refunded the complete deposit.... They could have kept the money suggesting the rain check for the next batch.
So getting this much angry dosnt hold much ground.

Very nice review.
This movie is close to my heart too. Although i saw this some 10 years back but still remember the dialogues. Couple of them you have mentioned, but my favorite, which i always share with my family and friends, is 'Sapney soch samajh k dekhnay chaheyen, Sach h...o jatey hai'.
Yeps, all the scenes you have mentioned are certainly the best ones. The last one, 13, was certainly bold as per the standards of that time. I guess, till that time, kissing on lips was not in very much fashion, as it is these days. And kissing somebody who is not the one and only boy friend, hmmm, forget it. I think, the motivation for the director to include it in the movie was to prove the point that they were bit more than friends.

Unfortunately, i have not seen Dharmatma, but always knew that it is a loosely made on the Book Godfather. As a matter of fact, I have seen the Godfather trilogy and they are one of my all time best.Also, I have seen Sarkar and liked it too.
About Firoz khan not acting well in the m...ovie, hemmm. Mum would be my words as i have not seen this one. But, Firoz jee, is one of my favorites. I consider him, second to just Dharam paajee, in looks.:)

I specifically searched for the review of this movie and after seeing just one review I was all set to pen one myself. But as very rightly said by other member in one of the comments, there is actually nothing else to add. Even the line which i always remembered about the mo...vie 'Sach bolney ka koi abhimaan nahi...' is also covered very nicely by yourself.

To be honest, I liked the movie a lot and when I read the head of this review of being “not outstading” I was kind of taken a back. I started reading the review with the frame of a mind of a critic. But yep, after reading it twice and doing the analysis of the flaws mentioned in the... review, I had to change my stance. The point raised are well taken.
I think, we all liked it a lot because of its timing of release. All movies released in previous months were below average. So we accepted what ever decent came after this gap with open arms. But you rightly said that, it is amazing for one time watch.

You know, even I have reviewed about this movie. The thing is, it is just you and me who are viewing this movie as a suspense thriller. Infect the director doesn’t make any such claims. He has been harping upon “What is right and what i...s wrong”. So if, for a second, we review this movie based on his theme than I think it is a complete failure. There is no such confusion in the movie about what is right and what is wrong. The situation is simple, Sunny committed crimes and he, because of his sound plan and good defense, gets away with it. The real situation about what is write and what is wrong had occurred if:
1) He had said that he has killed both of them and then prepared his defense accordantly.
2) After receiving the call from his son,(just before the shooting incident) he had changed his mind but the other two still wanted to go ahead. He had no option other than killing them in self defense.

Thanks Mazhar for calling it nice and noticing the fact of this review being the first one. Well, it took me more than 3 years to break the ice.
About Sunny and Irfan, hmmm, dont know. Although i like both of them alot but, as mentioned in my review, I found that repetition. Sunny has already per...formed the similar wheel chair role in 'Heros' and Irfaan, the cop role, in 'Rog'.

This is one of the best reviews I have read in MS. The best part is it covers to the extend that we get an understanding of the plot and the story and in the end, leaves some room for those, who want to go and watch to know the rest of the story.

About the questi...on, I guess, we have to give him some appreciation that he let the hero train for at least a month. Otherwise, like other movies, he could simply let the hero take off his shirt and bang!!!!!!! He is absolutely ready for the action.

I am very glad to know that you have taken my comments in the right spirits. I was bit apprehensive about writing something negative about your articles. All I wanted to do is to rate it “somewhat useful”, but then, MS came with the box, explain why did you find it that ways. So got caught... there.
Yes, you are right, I am very regular about reading your reviews. I have even gone through you blog site as well. The few lines (33) about, “I want to…” is amazing.
You are the reason; I started visiting MS site very often. Your being here is both good and bad for me. Good in the sense that I get to read this much humor coded intellectual and bad in the sense that because of the very high standards you have set, I am not able to convince myself, that even I can write something that very effective.
