irodov helps you think more deeply into the subject. yup a lot of it is out of syllabus...but u can still do those in syllabus. blieve me once u start solving irodov..ull want to do more and more of it. as 4 resnick..its good 4 beginner level in any new concept..

tata mcgraw hill is a really cool book 4 maths, tough the no of probs is perhaps lesser than mlk. but if u get time, try going thro mlk too

i totally agree with u about the -ve effects violence and sex can have on young impressionable minds. Children are very innocent and any repeated activity or occurence can make an indelible impression on their minds.
I hope the govts become more strict on the quality of content bein...g shown in the media today.Read More

maggi is by far the best noodles I have tasted till now. it's a pity that American markets don't have it(barring the Indian places of course). Whenever I feel hungry (in between meals), maggi is my first option.

this is an addition to my reivew(also as per cousin2's suggestion).
Basically, Sify offers connections on the basis of number of hours usage, for dialup internet. For eg: 10, 20, 25, 50, 100, 200,500. So more the number of hours, the lesser the user pays.
In our house, I use 100 Hrs pack. I bought... it for 700 bucks, with free night and sunday surfing.
Here are some reasons for my acrimonious review:
Recently, sify had withdrawn this scheme. What irked me was that I used to surf at nights thinking that night surfing was free(of course telephone charges were there). But one i couldn't logon since my hours had expired. After calling up sify office, I found out that I had no free night surfing. The customer care people had no courtesy to atleast inform the present users, who had been promised of free night surfing.
Another reason, as evident from my review was the connection speed. I have to say the speeds almost made me change my dial up brand, but these days the speed seems pretty decent.
So I will try sify for some more days and if iam satisfied, I will cling to it else there are many more companies in the market...Read More

Splendid review!
The highlight of ur review- to me- is the dialogues section. That was terrific man!
I suppose u really hated the movie very much to have written such a big review..

nice review there, but one can always find out the details of the courses offered from the university site itself. U must have focussed more on the facilities u personally experienced and felt were good.

As I have been to Ooty, I can guess the panaromic views hill stations offer. Ur review is good, but would have been better if it was more organised (like conveyance..places..etc)

Though it's a long time after u wrote this review, iam not able to resist the temptation to comment on it..
The review was terrific. I read the book long time back and this review brought back the reminisces of the great book.
Iam an ardent fan of MC, and have read many of his books. Bu...t Andromeda Strain is one of it' s kind book. The story especially the beginning..depicting an old man in the centre of the dead town just engrosses the reader's attention and one can't put the book away until after the last page..Read More
