wonderful thoughts the thought number 3 is very true/me & my friend used to have ghost walks in the nights from 12 to 2 am /we never talked a single word at that time /but our inner feelings got exchanged between us we knew it/till date we r very close freinds/

yes same experience i had with other courier services at chennai ( both professional& franch express ) the speed post deliver the parcel in time& promptly /only problem is the indian postal offices r not having many collection centres even at main cities/

the bitter experience may be due the technical staff at the BSNL local office /in tamilnad at Erode circle we get good service at any time of the day& the local Bsnl staff here at vellakoil& muthur are so courteous & respond quickly to our complaints/

As a first time visitor to HKG I was attracted very much to this city though it is very expensive one /bcas they keep the city very clean \people r so helping & they take pains to guide us /transport system is so perfect/ they keep up punctuality every where / we can get the best of everything there... /for eg we can see (in the super market ) all top class brands of groceries, fruits /all r imported from other countries/fruits & chocolates cost less when compared to BKG /electronics& textiles costs more / the traffic is so much pedestrian friendly / For a budget traveler there r plenty of guest houses & restaurants /the city is busy till late night /so it is safe for even a solo female traveler /I happen to see many solo female travelers in Hkg /if we limit our shopping expenses then HKG visit will not burn our pockets/ I feel February is a good time to visit HKG bcas the weather is so pleasant / I have posted the pics of the city & other important places in my photo section / Read More

the giant Buddha statue is situated atop of a small hillock (221 steps has to be climbed) except the statue & the butyful view of the surrounding hills nothing interesting there /after visiting the giant Buddha we can walk& reach the monastery /the return trip by cable car is a thrilling experience .../nice to view the hills ,sea & the airport from above / From kowloon we can travel by MTR up to Lai king station then change train to Tung chunk station/changing train is so easy/directions r available in the map& in the Rly stations / To reach the Disney land we can take train from Tung chunk to sunny bay station& there they have a special shuttle trip train to Disney land /the train it self a different type /the seat arrangements the compartments make us feel like being inside the Disney land/ Inside the Disney land they don’t allow us to take food stuffs /so better fill ur stomach well before going there / the entrance fee is soooo high /350HKG$ per person / comes around 2200 Indian rupees/ inside they have the adventure section/fantasy fairy section /the future world & the kids section /the rides r very limited when compared to other theme parks /a toy train is there as in other places / audio visual arrangements r nice /they have one main street there where they have parades of the Disney characters / the kids can enjoy well but just half a day is enough to complete the visit there /souvenirs r very expensive as in other places/ Read More

The avenue of stars is a long pathway along the sea shore /we can see the opposite island & the view & the statues of the famous cine stars r worth seeing/better to be there in the evening so that we can see all the buty of the harbor in daytime & also witness the symphony of lights /though it is fo...r only 15 mints the dancing of the lights over the buildings on both islands is a marvelous sight/ if one stays at Tsim sha Sui then the harbor is within walk able distance only/ Regarding the markets they r not so impressive as in Bangkok/everything is costly /mostly fake items they sell in the markets/if u want to buy originals then better to go for stores like Fortress or authorized show rooms for electronic goods /same way for other items like garments& handbags etc/ when compared to ladies market the temple market is cheaper /occasionally they sell good quality items on the road side stalls for unimaginable price/ so u must be alert to grab such sales /we got 5 T shirts (with collar & pocket &of good quality )for 100HKG$ /in the same market they sold it in the morning 3 for 100 hkg$/so whenever we happen to walk along the street we were looking for such reduction sales/ The kowloon park is a very calm& colorful place amidst the heavy traffic of the city/ nice place to relax in the morning & evening/also at the entrance they have open air performances in the morning hours like dragon dance etc /it is really a wonderful experience to see the city in the night /so many neon signs every where /every inch Nathan road& side roads r lighted on either side with the neon sign boards / At lantau island we can visit the giant Buddha monastery by bus& also by cable car/by bus it is only 15$ but by cable car it costs 74$ /so better to reach there by bus&return by cable car so that we can have both the experience without spending a lot /the giant Buddha statue is situated atop of a small hillock (221 steps has to be climbed) except the statue & the butyful view of the surroRead More
