Point well taken. I am not getting into an argument or something. Let me just add some observation of mine here too. We provide credit scoring solutions to major US banks (I do not have any idea of how Indian banks handle this!!) and salary is just one of the many parameters on which credit limit is... fixed. Each parameter has a certain weightage which is applied to individual scores on the same. Now in US, every individual has 4 cards, so the entire process of fixing limits and intimating customer is automated. In India, this doesnt seem to be the case, as very evidently 2 people with exactly the same scenarios would get diff limits... Further my reason for cancelling the card is not 'emotion'...its simply expectations hypothesis theory. The DB rep set expectations high and when the bank did not meet the same, dissonance resulted...simple....!! No offence....just my views...Read More

Pls get the facts rite...the max speed of activa is just 77Kmph...my 5 yr old activa still gives a mileage of over 45Kmpl%+ consistently..agreed that its got something to do with riding habits and conditions....Back ache is certainly a bit of an issue...I rarely faced it though...

I had ABN calling me 100's of times with the rep on the other side literally pleading to take the card. (If I were in front of him, think he would have fallen on my feet). The offer was too good to believe with 1% interest p.m compared to 2.95% by other banks.....So I rejected...Glad I did that....

Had the same experience with them....Ditto..In my case, I applied fr a gold card, they gave me a classic. I informed the CC n cancelled that. The customer care said they'l reapply n this time it was rejected...No transparency...They refuse to speak out....I decided that these grapes must be sore!!! ...:) ....Just be happy that u dint get into further problems with 'em....!!Read More

I have had 2 bad experiences with this bank and I have written a review here also about one of them....They never do what they promise to...Get ur dues cleared and have card cancelled...In my case the card, they say is cancelled, but I am able to login to phone banking...God knows how....Stay Away F...olks!!!Read More
