Thank you so much for putting this in a nice way. I have been yelling hoarse about this fact to all my friends and still they went and brought diesel vehicles. i brough ford figo petrol. The reason i get a straight saving of 1,35,000 on the car price, then the insurance and maintainance it works out to 1, 50,000 over a 5 year period (loan period). with this 1,50,000 i can buy 2000 liters of petrol (keeping Rs 75 per liter) that translates to 28000 km of fr...ee riding compared to if i had brought the diesel version. Thats because the one in UK is priced way above what they price in India. Probably you could import one or tell maruti you want those features and they will custom build it for you but see to that you pay for it. For your info for service/parts it costs a bomb in UK and not a pittance (read a...ffordable) which Maruti charges in India.Read More
