I brought this Phillips Mixer grinder on 28/08/2011, from Trichur, Kerala. I brought it because of 2 reasons. One it is a Phillips brand which is very reputed and second the styling was good. Little did I know what was in store for me. I came home from the showroom and tried to make mossambi juice. In the first minute itself smoke started coming out of the mixer and stopped. Called the showroom, they said this is a common problem, bring it in we will fix it. Good enough they were super fast in fixing it, They did it in a day. Went and got the mixer, came home, was a little scared to start it, anyways the next thing I know was the smoke this time was much more than the first day.
Well I have called the showroom and they have said to bring it in again.
So I am back to the first step. Still no juice.
So much for Phillips.
Anyone wanting to buy a mixer from Phillips better forget it. If this is the case with a simple mixer dont know how their other products are.
