Tuning your carburettor for optimal performance & General Tips on Bikes
Useful advice you had there dude. I am getting the hang of tuning up smaller bikes. Thanks! Pls note these settings are generally more applicable for smaller bikes. Machines of 400cc and above will have a slightly different setting. I'd add; fuel-air ratio setting may also be considered with w...here you will be riding. I'd suggest a leaner mix for urban driving as engine response quickens, but vibrates a bit more; which is what brought the conclusion of an engine that overheats. While it slightly diminishes torque and pulling power, it compensates for cooler engine operation and longer gear shifts. Ideal for country long rides. I reckon this is what EFI (electronic fuel ignition) systems in bigger and more complicated bikes and cars automatically compensate. On top of it all, proper spark-gap is IMPORTANT; especially with CDI and DC-CDI systems. Why and How? Lets talk about it ;) -sonRead More
