I bought this product 2 yrs ago. Previously I used larger, heavier machine 15.4 inch screen. This HP one is very sleek. It has very good battery life till date. Processor is doing well. Easy to carry, light weight. AMD works wonders. Problem areas are: 1) Touchpad stopped working after 2 y...Read more

A comprehensive review. It will be better if author edits it as far as ground clearance, weight of DURO is quoted rightly. Meanwhile, what is the latest on mileage (fuel efficiency)? Most of the customers rate it around 25-28 km/l even after 3 services. Is it true?

In addition to cheating done by their agents, the company itself is very in-different to the customers' issues. Their agents make tall claims when they have to grab a new customer but the redressal system for existing customers is pathetically poor. I have 2 ULIPs from Bajaj Allianz. After 7 mon...Read more

hi vinile! dont be disheartened. no need to forget ur 20k. although i am not an expert, but still know that ULIPs deliver if we keep them for a real long time say 15-20 years. company extracts maximum money in lieu of miscell. charges for initial years of policy, then if the funds continue performin...g well, u get a chance to see ur money grow. so, once u r in this mess like others, only way out is to keep investing for few more years.Read More

Nice to read! Although i do not know about other banks, but HDFC allows online purchase/redemption of MFs for its customers. This allows you to get rid of much paper work & makes you independent of any MF agents. You can get same day NAV also. It comes out to be a nice experience. SIP tends to blu...nt the effects of 'fluctuation' in the market. But sometimes, if a fund is performs very well for a long time & you have invested lumpsom money in it, you may get real smart payback Read More

Hi ruchi, at your direction, some local representative from MNYL visited my place to explain me details of the heavy deductions incurred in my policy. It turns out to be a mere mathematical work. Simply speaking, they have deducted ~ rs 1200/- per month apart from 25% fund allocation charges from rs... 30000 first year premium. My payment mode is yearly. This whooping deduction was explained as a sum of ‘administration charges’ + ‘fund management charges’ + ‘mortality charges’ etc. The poor customer may have enough reason to live happily with the fact that his 30k bucks are reduced to rs 11990 in first year of policy!!!!!!!!!!! I have ULIPS with other companies also. Such heavy cuts are nowhere in their products. Yours is perhaps only company which does not allow online swithing of funds at customer's hands. In today's busy world who gets spare time to visit company's office to avail '2 free swithes per year'? Otherwise, one may avail fund swith-option to gain some profits if you allow on-line swithes like others do.Read More

Adding spice to all the sugar coating here! The three drawbacks i noticed with this bank: 1) they do not provide any kind of loan 2) atm debit-card charges are little bit more i.e. around 170/- per year 3) being a new bank, their network is very limited I have around one yr exp with the bank as... a customer. Initially they provided maximum FDR interest rate to attract investors, but fallen in line with others now. Clarification- Min balance req. is 10000/- & not 1-peti. Cheers!Read More

And one point more. The mandatory word limit for posting a review should be reduced from 150 words to 50 words so that a busy member may write it in short time.

As common investor is not aware of these traps, one gets robbed off one's money at the hands of agents. ULIPs are not considered as good tools for investment. If life insurance is not ur basic need & u want good returns, never ever go for any ULIP. One thing more, always read carefully the example-c...hart which the agents show u at the time of buying policy. Most of the traps are noticed by doing so.Read More
