Hello Drkgupta, the foot level AC means the blower can be adjusted to provide air both downwards and at body level. I have a Dynamic (just below emotion) and dont have the rear AC Vent. The emotion variant has a rear vent that give AC at body and Knee level (foot level is different and knee le...vel is differnt). smart marketing by fiat :) even I got confused when I went to make my choice.Read More

hi sutopa, I have gone for a Diesel, Dynamic which cost exactly the price of petrol emotion pack. if you ask me its more sensible to buy Diesel from fiat. This is the engine that has made history all over the world as is licensed by Maruti, Tata, GM and many other companies. The petrol might be a go...od one (I havent tried it) but having used a petrol car and then moving to the LINEA Diesel, I can say its amazing smooth in city conditions. Diesel is FIATs forte, but that said the petrol variant may be good but its easier to go with the best rather than settle for the petrol. The diesel again is very proven for mileage and maintenance, the gear box is smooth and after about 800 kms the engine completes the running in period, the vehicle is unbeatably smooth. of course, the noise is slightly higher thatn the petrol (I said slightly higher, the engine is quite silent compared ot most diesel engines incl. the verna)Read More

hi, Second you man, I too bought a Linea Dynamic Deisel. Tried all those care that you mentioned and finally settled on the Linea. Damn good car for the price. Done about 800kms and mileage in bangalore city with AC is about 12-14 which is quite satisfactory. happy driving and keep the po...sts going and spread the word, I am sure Linea is going to make it the top selling C segment care in the next 18-24 months.Read More

Hi, I guess you are just giving out your frustration or that you havent bought this car really. Trust me buddy, I frequent europe and believe me driving a FIAT linea or Europe is like driving a maruti here. these are one of the best cars in the world. I think you have not familiarised yours...elf with the car and surprise that you picked diesel of the lot when the MJD is the international engine of the year for FIAT. Cool down and I am sure the car will get better after the first service. cheers and keep driving with a smile. btw, I do own one.Read More

Hi, Guess I should agree with Imitiaz and edassery on their thoughts. Its probably you driving style that is costing mileage. you need to get used to the driving style and this is different from the car you would have driven earlier. i own a linea deisel and the first fill the mileage return s...eemed unsatisfactory but the more I drove, I learned the nitty gritty of the way the car behaves and trust me the deisel is returning me about 12-14 kmpl in city conditions with AC which is quite decent. As far as the service is concerned see if a change of the service centre makes a difference. honestly I had a decent experience at the Concorde Motors support at Bangalore, they seem to be improving though not yet there.Read More

I am quite surprised, I bought this car after trying out the Honda city, Feista and Verna. I found FIAT has a trumph card up their sleeve. I am quite happy and find it probably far more spacious than the city and verna. Quite a good mileage return as well, has better suspensions and a smooth ride. F...YI this is the engine that propelled FIAT into leadership, and just in is the news that Linea has been nominated car of the year by some reviews. Cheer up and look for a better dealer who cares for their customer, your opinion will change.Read More

hyundai - time for you to wake up and see. you may be number 2 in the market but please let this not get into the head of your dealers. the arrogance they displayed while picking up your car was so pathetic that i decided dropping the choice.

Hi again, I second some of the above opinions, while maruti offers great service (I own an esteem other than the i10) which I suspect if hyundai can ever match. While ritz is also a car that maruti will keep for a good long run for the next 5-8 years its BS 4 ready. i10 is BS 4 and BS 5 ready. ...If you travel mostly in city, AT can ease out a lot of stress as you need not change gears all the while (but yes at a marginal lower fuel efficiency), but this should not be a concern as a difference of 1.5 km is just about 7 rupees on every litre. So if you dont mind spending that extra bit for more eased up driving go for the AT.Read More
