I lost 80% of my investment in life vision plan

Thanks to kolarkrishnamurthy for his comment. Just want to mention that this was not a market linked plan. It was a simple pension plan with life cover and 5% assured benefits + bonus per year. The only issue was that I wanted to exit after the minimum lock in period of 3 years, where they are retur...ning only 30% of the premium paid, no interest, no bonus, and even eating up 70% of the premium paid. If I had kept it it in savings deposit, I would have got more than 10% in 3 years. Hence effectively my loss is more than 80% of what I paid. What can this be called other than cheating?Read More
