Hi Sri.. Thanks for ur comment. I am glad that you are satisfied with ur WagonR. Gear Shift: Well, I spoke to a mechanic at a Maruti Service centre and he said that after a few thousand kilometres 'everything' will become smooth. I did not believe him because my car had already done 10,000kms. That ...was more than enough for any part to get smooth. So I spoke to other WagonR owners and all reported the same issue. So I am planning to use a fully synthetic engine oil and a better quality transmission(gear) oil that will make atleast the internal gear shifts smooth (if not the gear shift lever) I dont think there is any other way. Steering: I have done 19,000kms and have driven her beyond 100kmph so many times, both on petrol and LPG modes. The steering now feels a little hard. It takes more strength to turn the steering wheel than it used to before. But that can be adjusted/repaired. Not a problem. She is due for the next servicing in a 1000 more kms...Read More

I agree with you regarding the tyre size. Its really pathetic. I've mentioned this point in my review as well. I got it checked from the service centre itself and they said we can upgrade to a size thats a little broader and fits on the same rim. Lets see. Nice review by the way.

Hi Tapan..The LPG cylinder is located where the stepny is. So the stepny has come up and taken up almost half of the boot space. But as Wagon R has got better height (vertical space in the boot), as compared to small cars, u can still fit in some luggage.. like 2 suitcases, a sack and some small stu...ff as well. You can also put something on the stepny itself. And it wont obstruct your rear view from the mirror.;o) It should'nt be much of a problem.Read More

I would not mention any detailed technical specifications out here, since most of you will be already aware of the same. I just want to share my experience as a Wagon R DUO owner. I was after something that offered a rare combination of power, mileage and good looks. Hyundai Santro and Maruti Wa...Read more
