Today I had been to Lohagad Fort with my family, before starting the Journey from Pune, had gone through couple of reviews, on which road to follow, there were 4 options:
Old Pune-Mumbai NH4 - Malavali Station - Lohagad Fort
Pune-Mumbai Express Highway - Kamshet Exit - Lohagad Fort

Last year I did a round trip Pune-Goa-Pune, I went via Phonda Ghat > Kankavali and came via Ajra > Nippani, I found that the Phonda Ghat route had good roads even though it adds @20kms and thats reasonable. Planning the same round trip next weekend, will update you the 2011 road conditions via... Phonda Ghat.
Cheers!

Hi,
It’s a very nice review. After reading your review, I think I should change my car to Versa. I own a WagonR_2007. I too had short listed WagonR and Versa taking into consideration Space, Millage, Maint & Spare and reliability. As I am sitting inside while driving, looks had second preference. ...Most of my long distance travels are with my spouse and child, hence I went with WagonR. As you love to travel long distances, you can read my review on Pune-Kerla-Pune @ 3250kms, do let us know ur next travel details. Thanks.Read More

I'll try to keep the review short and informative as much as possible:
Car - Wagon R Lxi - 30K KM odo meter - 2007 model - Full service done before travel. Traveled with my wife and 8yr old. Took a dozen of water bottles and lots of healthy snacks. Folded the rear seat and converted the back ...Read more

Hi,
Corresboy is right, if anyone has to compare two vehicles, then they should be fom the same class. We have almost every kind of two wheeler in gearless type, in our family (Activa-Aviatory-Scooty ES- Scooty Pep), but I’d like to add, that I own a Scooty (not ES but the kick start one) model M...arch 2000, with 48000 kms running w/o a single major expense, it still has the same power and a millage of 52+ kmpl.
Again its personal choice and it depends upon how you drive the vehicle and how good ur service center/mechanics are.
Drive safe, Cheers!Read More

Hi Narinder, it is a good review; just make the change in the company claimed mileage as suggested by Panchajanya/mgssr which ever is the correct one.
Panchajanya ’U fool!’ kind of personal comments to anyone doesn’t look good; I suppose ur grown up and mature. Narinder said ’’people using it and... showroom vendor even claims 90’’ he never said the manual says 90kmpl. It not always depend alone upon the m/c to give a good millage, but depends upon the person who drives the m/c and the ppl who service/ repair it.
Narinder, if possible also update ur actual millage after six months of driving.
Cheer!

Thanks for your review. I had a planned a trip to Kerala and was looking for a good tour operator. Going through ur review and couple of other reviews, I now prefer to drive to kerala in my own car, it'd be little hectic but 'caution is better than cure' :).

Hi Viola/ Pooja,
It’s a good review. Your review took me back to my childhood vacation days, where I used to ride my cycle in my uncles farm :-). I'd take the positive notes from the review. Instead of spending time on riding a stationary cycle in a gym at 6 - 6:30 AM going no where also spend tim...e to and fro to the gym. I can afford a hatchback car to commute to the office but I prefer to ride a cycle at 7:30 AM, even if I have to spend 15mins extra to reach my office (In traffic jams ur cars Avg. speed is @ 30KPH, on cycle its more than 20KPH, I travel 15X2 Kms/Day). If I have to work till late evening/ night, for safety purpose I prefer the car. For e.g. IT companies and BPO's where majority of the females are employed, company pays extra money for fuel or arrange for cabs for as shift allowance to the employees for food and commuting to the office and back home. Hence I don't see any reason why people (specially females) should ride on a cycle in late evening/ night to go home, it'd be stupid idea to ride a cycle at night in a city like Bangalore or any other city).
I have travelled to all parts of the world and there ppl are not ashamed of riding a cycle or have any inferiority complex. In UK I know couple of companies where the employees get some special allowance if they commute to the office on a cycle. This won't happen in our country, but at least wherever possible we should try to ride a cycle this is the minimum we IT professions can do to contribute towards Green Planet (I know we get a lot of money, I know ppl who will take a car to buy milk from a shop few hundred meters from their apts, but there are better ways to spend it, I guess most of you’d agree). Till now we were crawling towards extinction, now we are sprinting towards extinction.
Viola/ Pooja you can add couple of lines about ur bike (pro-n-cons) that would help the female ms users to select their bike if they have to start afresh. Keep writing!
Best Regards,
K Raje.Read More

Thanks Rakesh and Kiran for your reviews. In India the customer is always taken for granted and the consumer court seems to be helpless.
Aim is just to selling of sub standard and duplicate products to earn profits - no (quality) service and fake technicians. Before blaming these companies/ produc...ts, it is the consumers’ responsibility to check how genuine the product is, it hardly takes few minutes to bourse on the internet for reviews which gives a good idea about the product and alert us to take precautionary measures if we still wish to go with the product. Once again thanks for your review, I have finalise for Zicom, now I am no more interested in Zicom.

Hi Mi,
Indeed a bad experience but a very good review. There is nothing to feel guilty about, if the salesperson misbehaved with you, that is what he paid for, and it’s our fault that we turn to these kinds of promotions/ offers. There are so many reviews on MS that’ll help us to keep away fro...m these kinds of cheats.
There are good reviews on how to keep away from Club Mahindra and Country Club cheats. Anyways, if all the people, who get a call from these jerks, just go through the MS reviews before contacting/ responding them, can save a lot of money, time and can have mental peace.
Mi, keep writing.
Cheers!
