The concept of Computer Classes is not new to India, In fact Aptech is in india since 1986. (this is early considering the fact that Windows was first launched in 1985). I agree with you that the day to day running of the center depends on the franchisee. However it is the responsiblity of the... parent company to enforce strict quality control measures to make sure the franchisees stay up to the standard. Hey, I am surprised to hear about this, I have been a member of Fitness One Jayanagar and none of the above happens here. I wouldn't say the trainers are always there for you, they do chit chat among themselves sometimes but are pretty dedicated to attending customers most of the times. ...I visit the off peak hours (The membership is cheaper) and there are very less people in the gym, so maybe that is the reason i get very good attention from the trainers. Unfortunately the trainer assigned to me is a bit lazy and hasn't been much of an inspiration but I don't have to depend on him for anything I have built a rapport with the other trainers and i am loving my workouts these days. And in the past 6 months i have been with Fitness one, i have never been offered or even asked about any additional package to be bought, i just see pamplets for them but nobody has ever talked about it.
