Two extra points pressure in tyre may damage the suspension system and lead to plastic part rattling !

I am riding Suzuki Access since July 2009. Covered about 14000 km, as I use it alternatively to my car. Yes, it is a strong, tall scooter, good pick up, good sitting comfort. I had faced the engine stop problem in the first six months. Company's service engineer from Gurgaon factory visited Durgapur... to see and changed the carburettor pin. No problem after that. Tyres are definitely not good for high speed riding. Mileage: 45-52 kmpl. Yes! How? Speed between 30-35 km/hr, tyre pressure 1 point extra than company recommendation, I always tell the petrol guy not to close the nozzle manually and wait till all the petrol drains out from the pipe. You shall get about 50 ml less petrol if he closes the nozzle manually as soon as the meter on the petrol pump shows the set quantity. So, with a combination of speed control, tyre pressure and right quantity and quality petrol, able to stretch every litre of petrol. Riding between 40-50 km/hr leads to 38-40 kmpl mileage. If you look at what 'Ram' has written then undoutably, it looks like Tata Sky people writing under psedonames and singing praise about the company. The content of this 'review' looks remarkably similar to some of postings I have read on Tata Sky. MouthShut should investigate if some companies are do...ing damage control excercise like this and exclude propaganda material from its reviews.Read More

All my brothers and sisters who have been harassed by Tata Sky. I have sent an ultimatum to the company and waiting for reply. Their auto-response to my email has come and I am waiting for a more human reply from a human being from Tata Sky. I will decide my next step. I am a Management Professor. What I can see is that Tata's have spread themselves too thin. Their big bosses are busy with their prestige projects like Nano (or NoNo !), leaving the smaller Tata companies like Tata Sky, Tata Indicom in lousy and incompetent hands. And we poor customers are left with... having been cheated by the Tata Brand name !!Read More
