American Express Credit Card

Holds true even today. Even during my trip to USA in Oct 2010, lot of restarants did not accepted AMEX cards. So had no option but to pay by my VISA card(HSBC)

Also just to add. Lot of Merchants do not accept Amex card. Not only in India but lot of places abroad aswell. Reason : Visa/Master take 1-2% of deal from merchant and AMEX takes 3%.

rgundapa, I have been using HSBC for last 4 years and my card expired and did even received new card, without any charges, or redeeming bonus point ?? I think there might be multiple polices etc
