Hi. American Express Card no starts from 3769......... (15 digits) in India. I’m not sure whether 3713...... is the correct no. Only AmEx Bank has been acquired by StanChart and the Credit Cards, Travellers Cheques and Corp Cards are still with American Express Banking Corp. I agree with... Farooq. Also, it is not necessary that your Credit Limit will remain low forever. Its just because of the market scenario that all the Card Companies are revising the Credit limit based on the Cardmember’s history. Read More

Its so surprising to hear such thing about AmEx Customer Care. There is no AmEx branch in BKC(Bikaji Kama Place). You should escalate this matter to Amex High authourities... Look at the MITC(Most Imp. Terms and Conditions) booklet that comes with your Card statements. You will be able to see the na...mes and contact details for the executives for escalation. Hi Hiten. i beg to differ with you guts that there are few establishments that accept AmEx Cards. I being a AmEx Cardmember for 2 years can say that it has grown tremendously in these years. Please understand that, The Value of that Card and the price at which it cones, the Target segment does n...ot shop in any mom and pop shops. You go to any mall/ dining/ departmental stores(Westside etc) you will get the acceptability. I can't comment about Corp. Cards but Amex Consumer Cards come with a lot of value proposition for the Cardmembers. You call up the Customer service and you will feel someone special with the treatment you get. Hi. First of all, if you own an ICICI Bank American Express Card, the Customer Care and all other issues are managed by the Card issuer i.e. ICICI Bank. American Express has just partnered with ICICI. You should try taking an American Express Card directly from AmEx and I can bet that you will... find excellent customer service. Secondly, Acceptance for AmEx Cards has increased tremendously today as compared to what it was till last year(2008). Now, you will find acceptability at all major retail chains like Shoppers Stop, Westside etc. You can have online shopping fron Bookmyshow.com, makemytrip.com etc. Hope your enjoy the benefits from American Express.Read More

Indica xeta with CNG

Second thought: I have done close to 900 kms on my CNG. Noe, I'm getting udsed to drive with CNG on the busy roads as well. I will suggest you to jast hang on for some more time and you will also get used to drive your Xeta on CNG. I understand that when ur drivig a new car u get quick accelera...tion etc. So, in ordr to save money you will have to compromise with 25% power loss.. :) Thanks AbhayRead More

Hi Infact i also got my Car(GVS) fitted with CNG kit. I have a similar problem too. It has done nearly 600kms. Yesterday, I visited their workshop to get the problem - Low pickup and sudden power loss on CNG - rectified. But, as it was a Sunday and i could not leave my car there for a day, t...hey have asked me to come on some other day for 2-3 hours and the problem will be corrected (May be RPM setting and Spark plugs setting will be done)Read More

Hi I agree with you on the Loss of pickup at different intervals. I have a Xeta Dec' 06 Version. I have noticed the loss of power is ususlly when we are accelerating the vehicle in traffic jams with AC on. I now switch off the AC while I'm in a major traffic jam and I must say that the frequenc...y of such power losses have reduced after that. We do not have an alternate way as I feel this is the usual problem with all the Xeta models with 1200 CC engine.Read More
