I am surprised that your team understand the problem, however cannot advise a note that till the time follow up is progress, you should not be allowing the deduction of account. Actually, they are unable to compete with a high attrition and with the absoluely poor customer service. My case Just dropped this mail, lets see how they reply I have an account which is about more than 6 years old with kotak. They have gone down since the initial stage. 6 years ago, it wa...s fantastic customer service, relationship manager was always advising. . Today come the worst part. While opening an account I chose a specific product type, will with a high broakerage. Slowly since my volume was substantial, I had asked relationship manager as how should i move, He suggest a type ( K2) and i opted. Few months back another manager calls me ( i dont know their attrition rate, believe me it will be higher than 50% and hence they are unable to maintain relationship) and advise that ''Sorry K2 no longer exist , you have to move'' Obvious answer from my side, move to the account similar to it, surprised how can you take out the product type (isnt it called blackmailing, that when I open you have the product type but sorry now its gone so you have to move to a charging ones) . He moved to some type where now i have been charged 5000 Rs( can you believe it). The worst case is the customer rep, you call them, they understand the problem but sorry cannot do much. I said, what is the guarantee that you will not change this to 10000, sorry no answer. It is all possible with Kotak. Overall the service has gone down tremendously. Have been trying to find the data, seems like Indiabulls and sharekhan are good Any other i can switch to, please advise.Read More

Somehow my impression is very different. I have an account which is about more than 6 years old with kotak. They have gone down since the initial stage. 6 years ago, it was fantastic customer service, relationship manager was always advising. Slowly that came down. Anyhow, I still continued with the...m hoping that they will identify the areas to improve and work on it. In between, they do wake up and call me. Now come the worst part.
