Hey Fenil,
Yet to watch Raavan. Will watch it soon.
As for your review. Again brilliant work.
Though I wouldn't really agree with you on the part you wrote about Ramayana. Ram is always seen as 'good' while Ravan is seen as 'bad'. And in the movie it has been shown that both have shad...es of grey. I agree to that. Both do have shades of grey. Though the majority doesn't see it that way. Anyways it's a debatable topic.
It's a treat to read your review.
Looking forward to read more from you.
Keep writing.

Hey Fenil,
Again a fantastic write up on a fantastic movie.
Just read a couple of your reviews and must say your writing style is crisp.
Rajneeti is no doubt one of the most important movies to release this year. It did fulfill the expectations of it's distributors as well as the audi...ence.
Hope to see more such movies.
And you keep writing.
Keep up the good work, dude.
Cheers,

Hi Fenil,
It's a pleasant surprise to read a review on Khakee in 2010.
It was a very well made movie. Rajkumar Santoshi rocks.
Ajay Devgan was at his best in this movie. Specially the way he utters that dialogue 'Maarne waala bhi roye, Maar khaane waala bhi roye.' He personifies 'Evil...' so brilliantly.
You did total justice to a brilliant movie with your amazing review.
Keep em coming.
Cheers,

You have a way with music reviews. I can almost taste the music in your reviews.
I have listened to Ishqiya. It's simply sensual. Albums like Ishqiya come once in a while. I hope the movie does justice to the music.
My personal fave is 'Dil toh bachcha hai ji'.
The whole album is oh s...o lyrically rich. Gulzaar & Vishal Bharadwaaj make a winning combo.
Great in-depth analysis of each song.
Your words sing, dude.
Smiles,

Friends Forever........???
Jan 12, 2010 09:50 PM
Hi Rachit What I have learnt from the big book of life is that everything in life comes with an expiry date. Relationships are no exceptions.
People come in our lives with an unknown goal. When that goal is met, they naturally drift away. Two people in each other's life, is like two ingredients... brushing their distinct tastes on each other. When they leave, the aftertaste remains in both lives.
They might cross paths with us again in future but there's no guarantee whether the relationship or our interactions might have the same depth as it once had. Life changes... Priorities change... No one is to be blamed. It's nature.
There are some relations that stay through out our entire lives or most of our lives. But the trick is we dont have to try to keep them. They just stay. Once we start trying to keep a relation, it's a hint that we are losing it.
Anyways, you take care.
Cheers,

Hey Rohit,
Reviewing Jagjit Singh is no child's play. You have to have a really good ear for music. And what a ear you have?
The way you have understood the nuances of each gazal is noteworthy.
Yor review made for a great read. The way you have re-christened the maestro to Gazaljeet S...ingh. Couldnt agree more with you.
Great work, buddy.

Hi truehindu,
Whoa.......
wat's a Hindu? Wat's a Muslim?
And who are you asking to be raped?
When a woman gets raped or a human being gets killed, he is just human. At that moment of death, no religion comes in picture. It's just pain. It's just death.
I dunno how you started hating s...pecifically Muslims. If it has anything to do with Hindu Muslim riots ot terrorism, let me make one thing clear. Terrorists have no religion. Their bombs and bullets see no religion before killing a person.
Extremist views are not going to help India in any way. If we do the same with hinduism wat Pakistan has done with Islam, one day, we'll be a reflection of Pakistan. We wud be just another terrorist country.
It's not the religion. It's the people who are at fault. Before hating something try to know and understand it. Islam never taught violence. Jihad has totally different meaning in Quran. People have misinterpretted it, manipulated it and used it for their own cause.
Taslima Nasreen's Lajja is against the injustice carried out in the name of religion. That's why I like that book. If it was about hating muslims, it wud have been in my dislike list.
The people who carried fatwas against that book, didnt understand it's point in first place. Rather they took it very personally coz, their fundamentalist faith and thoughts were questioned.
And Narendra Modi, well, if you - a young girl of 18 would support him, I think India is going in wrong hands.
Before being a true hindu, try and be human first.Read More

Religious Harmony In India ...
Apr 08, 2009 06:25 PM
Hey Nawaz That was a post brimming with intelligence.
Specially loved the example of the professor, you gave at the end of the post. If each of us manages to reconstruct the human being inside us, we can unite the world under a single roof of humanity. Bravo, that was amazing.
Normally I a...m too lazy to post comments. But couldnt help after reading your post. Religious harmony in India has always been of deep concern to me since my school days.
Feels great to read a post that totally reflects my views.
Keep writing.
