Good one, and you played it very safely... you even gave the exact amount you paid, and made sure that every point that a customer can give a bad review on is pointed out as ''good''. I admire your talent, spoken like a true customer service representative :)!

1) ALWAYS, get a complaint number, and call up EVERY day to get a resolution, even if they give you a date for resolution. Chances are that they will try to get in touch with you and close it off if you are not reachable for some reason.

I just gave them a call (at 4:45 AM) to check, and woke up a poor lady from her sleep (the 1600 number for Dataone didn't click so I dialled Sancharnet's number... fortunately I diall...ed the correct number :D)... she was nice enough to tell me that dataone works from 8 to 8 (though the site tells otherwise)... I'll try calling them up in the morning... but yeah, the plan looks very promising... unlimited means, I might even be able to say goodbye to my BSNL telephone... all STD and ISD calls will be done through googletalk, skype, yahoo, etc... BSNL has provided a pretty good quality of voicechat for me so far... :)

Lol, dude, I came to mouthshut so that I could write a review on their customer service, but looks like you beat me to it. I just placed my 7th call to their customer service (this is now becoming my best hobby) I'm giving a call a month to them now and reminding them of their promise the previous m...onth. I'm calling them again same day same time next month - I even have this in my calendar.
Really, those guys just keep giving promises. Today I was told that maybe the service was not available in my area - 'maybe'. Then why the hell did they keep telling me that the sales guy will contact me and that the service is definitely available in my area? All they ask for is my pincode (I'm in Bangalore by the way). After that 'maybe', I'm beginning to like this a lot. I'll let you know if I hit a century ;-).
Oh, by the way, does anyone know the contact e-mail of any senior guy in relianceinfo where a complaint of this nature can create a heart-failure? I have a beautiful e-mail ready and waiting for customer care, but I would like to copy him/her on it. You might find it interesting by the way - one of the characters I have mentioned in it is King Kong ;-).Read More

Thanks for the comments. I have used Bazee many times before, but this is the first time I had to interact with the customer service. And that had been pathetic. Maybe it is a different user's experience that you had. But I will keep what you said in mind, and hope for the good ...in the future :).Read More
