I am a TATA DOCOMO 3G E Stick post paid user from last 2 months. I am 21 Km away from Bangalore city and 15 KM from Banashankari. I am getting very good speed where it always worked for downloads up to 3.6 Mbps. I have downloaded 700 Mb CD in 30 minutes(Ubuntu 11.04 Operating System).
As committed by the sales person the first month bill was absolutely free and second month onwards 400 rupees discount on bill. So overall the device is free after 5 months.
I have selected 3.6Mbps plan which gives maximum peek usage of 10GB and after that it gives 128Kbps. This restriction is as per TRAI guidelines so we cant blame the operator. The overall bill will come 1250+ 10.3% TAX. after 5 months. Until that 1250+10.3% TAX- 400
The connection reliability is very good. Once U connect it . it never goes down at any reason. and Its plug and play.
The problem I faced is after 15 days of my connection the device started showing an error the device is not functioning. I called customer technical support they have taken me through the trouble shooting and spent my almost 1 hr for the same without any result. After the error it used take 10 minutes for the first time connection. I used the same in the same manner for almost 1 month and after that when I Docomo support center and it was the problem with the SIM card and they replaced the SIM within minutes and it started working normally till now.
Request to docomo to increase the coverage all over India so roaming will be very nice with high speed internet.
