I never thought I'd have to write a review here about anything at all, because I let things go as it comes. But this is one review that I think I must write, because it shows incompetence, carelessness, and whatever it relates.

I was an avid buyer at baazee, who, like most of the others, had seen ads in TV, and was hooked online to baazee.com. Yes, I never had a bad product delivered to me - I mean, all the products which came to me were good. But it is not because of superior service I was offered at baazee. Yes, the website is good, the products are displayed in a good way, the classification is good, and whatever. But if I was delivered a good product, it is only because the people who listed the product were good, or I was lucky so far.

I ordered for a downloadable product for around 40 Rs. or so (I'm happy it was only 40 bucks). The seller was prompt and gave me a link where I can download the product. I was very happy with the prompt service I got, and clicked on the link to download my product - only to be shown a message similar to this: ''I have moved my product from here because people are using up my bandwidth. If you have purchased this product from me, then please contact me at this mail ID with the order ID''. (I wish not to disclose any information regarding this site or anything related, but it was a listing from e-bay if I remember correctly, and the actual cost of the product was around $24.)

Fine, I copied this mail and sent it to the seller, asking him what to do. Waited for 1, 2, 3.... no response! On the 4th day, I lodged a complaint with Baazee.com's customer service. The next day or so, I got a response from them asking me to give 7 to 10 days to the seller to resolve the problem. Alright, cool, I waited. Then again I mailed them asking what was happening. Two days later, I got a mail from baazee asking if my problem is resolved, and if not, click on the ''No'' button displayed in the message. Then why the hell did I mail these guys? Ok, I clicked on the No button.

Next day they forwarded me a copy of the mail they sent to the seller telling him about my situation, telling him to revert back in 48 hours. Ok, I thought something was happening at last. Nothing happened in that week, and the next week, so I gave up on them.

I would have given up on that and not even thought about it if I hadn't got a mail from Baazee after 1 and a half months regarding the issue. Seeing the subject line, I was happy to feel that they were still tracking my issue - but the content had this: ''We have established contact with the seller, and he says that you have received the product. Please confirm the receipt of the same in the next 24 hours.''

Now I got really really (what is a more decent way of saying ''pissed off''? ok, got it...) irritated. I sent a mail to them, taking time from my office hours, to mail these people with the situation. I put the happenings date-wise, and mailed them, with all the proof and the contents of the mails between me, the seller, and whoever is involved. I got a reply from them the next day to try sending a mail to the seller once more asking for the product.

I got hold of my senses again, and sent a mail to them, CC to baazee. That was 4 days ago, I believe. Today, I got a mail from baazee as a reply to my CC-ed mail - a copy-and-paste of the mail that I was sent for the date-wise explanation I had given them; which means, they don't even bother to go through an e-mail I spent half a day to type down.

I checked the ratings of that particular seller. There was a guy who had ordered for 8 or 10 different products (I hope all of lower values)... and he hasn't received a single product from them.

My advice to you guys and gals, is, if you are buying from baazee, try to check out the actual value of the same product, and compare it with what this guy offers. The best way is to put that product's name in Google and search for it. You might find it for sale somewhere else for a higher price (I mean, in dollars, pounds, etc.) If it is sky-high, please don't even bother unless you are happy to spent a small amount of money and risk it.

Don't even bother to write to the Customer Service.... they have customers, lots, but no service. I don't even know why they are there.

I hope who is reading this liked my story. I have put it as much lightly as possible, so there might be missing links there. My next move on this one will be to file this to Baazee's Buyer Protection Program. Maybe I'll have a different experience, but that is something I have to wait and see.

Nothing to offend anyone, but I really don't like people who really ask for it!
