Same with Me. I too bought the vehicle in April. Getting around 10-12 only. Sameway sales guy told 16 in city with A/C and 19 on highways. On highways getting around 15 only. I had a 800 earlier which used to give me 16 in city itself and 22-24 on highways. As said, ARAI mileage figures cannot be... trusted. It is misleading. 20 kmpl is totally impossible. Coming to speed, vehicle becomes unresponsive at 90 itself. You have to push it hard to reach 100. My 800 was making 90s easily with a great mileage as well. It is the exterior and interior attraction that is making this car to sell, so is the reviews in auto shows and auto magazines which are all misleading.Read More

Introduction of Suzuki access resulted in Honda Aviator, a much better product than Activa. All these days we were buying an inferior product.

Upto 2,000 kms, any bike or scooter, should not be driven more than 40kmph and not made to carry heavy load. I think you invited trouble since you overloaded your bike before it actually capable of taking.

Your clutch may not be getting engaged properly or it is something to do with clutch plate. Just ask to adjust the clutch wire during service.Don't get carried away, problem comes in all bikes because of some minor adjustments which is done manually in the factories. Hi, I am basically from Bangalore. It is too difficult to drive a 150cc bike in the traffic. You have to do lot of controlling. I have driven Unicorn in Bangalore & it is difficult because of the heavy tank & the power. Because of the heavy tank, you cannot manoevour which is much needed in Ban...galore city. 125cc 4 stroke or 100cc 2 stroke is easy to drive. 100cc 4 stroke is for uncles!!. So, I recommend 125cc 4 stroke. Yamaha Gladiator is the best among 125cc 4 stroke bikes. It got the second place in the Bike of the Year in most of the magazines after CBZ extreme. It comfortably gives 55+ mileage & many are regularly getting 60+. Unicorn & other 150cc are good for Fun drive on highways, not for stop and go Bangalore traffic.Read More

Hi, Although Suzuki came to India recently, with not a great but not bad product, they came up with very good service and show rooms. Their bikes Heat and Zeus are very aggressively priced and feature rich. Because of this mantra, although all magazines have rated Yamaha Gladiator as the best bik...e in 125cc (despite of different comments from proud owners of other bikes), Suzuki is doing good. As one person said, it is true. Honda showroom people behave as if they are from no.1 company.Read More

Dear Sir, Please do not mistake me. See everyone cannot get an Accent and at the price of an accent probably you get 2 800s. And 800 does most of the job. You can go at speeds of 100, which is more than enough for Indian roads and in cities like Bangalore, where you cannot go more than 60, this i...s much more than sufficient. Please do not compare it to a Luna and Pulsar. Maruthi 800 was the first international class car that came to India and you shouldn't forget it. Simply by going for a large vehicle, you are just wasting money for a little more comfort and little more speed.Read More

Mr. I am also riding RX100 from past 10 years. I do not face any problem. Your bike might be having problem. Infact, in those years, this bike had the best suspension.Same was copied to Splendor in those days. Even if I get down the foot path, I don't feel much vibration. In my home, my uncle is ha...ving splendor. Although copied from RX, suspension is not as good as this. Think Generally!!!Read More

Mr., You don't know what you want to say and still you want to write review and put marks on your own. How many times have you pressed Very Useful for your own review!!! Mr. You cannot expect both mileage and power (This is the basics a good biker should know) - If you don't know, know it now. Ev...en pulsar 150 gives only 45. My Uncle is a mechanic and we get almost all auto magazines and he himself will tell about the maintenance. Also this bike was originally designed in 1964 in Japan. Now its almost 40 years. You cannot compare new bikes to them. Rather appreciate what it got at that time itself. Start thinking intelligently and practically.Read More

Hi Vijay, All your thoughts are pre-mediated. You are inclined towards Hero Honda, somehow you have purchased this and thinking only negative points. Ofcourse, CRM of yamaha is not good in India, because of less number of showrooms. Mind you even Honda is having the same problem. Only Indian manu...facturers are good in CRM. You should have gone directly to HH Super Splendor since you are inclined to that. Gladiator is the best bike in 125cc by all magazines just like Suzuki Swift was.Read More

Mr. Selva, This is a new bike. Shouldn't cross 40 upto 1000 kms. If you are going at 70 initially, engine will be damaged. Ofcourse the bike will go, but, if you do so, in the future, you will face power and mileage problems. Didn't anyone suggested you this. This is the basics. Also one ge...ntleman has said in the comments that YBX and gladiator engine is the same. It is not so. Gladiator is having Digital CDI ignition - A microchip controlled engine compared to YBX which is analog or just CDI ignition. With digital CDI, both mileage and power can got together.Read More

It seems you are a new bike rider. While riding bikes, as soon as the speed goes down, you have to come to lower gears, from 5th to 4th, 4th to 3 and so on. This will come by habit. Once you are done with that you won't face this problem. You will feel it easy.
