Got a quick response from the customer care department, they had asked for my Residence Address, and i have provided the same...

I tried calling Dinesh today to check on the status of my complaint,
he never answered my phone... thus we end this year with a lot of grief and mental stress of purchasing this piece of crapy product.

I have managed to catch hold of Dinesh - Videcon Direct Employee, he says he was on vacation, and he has once again noted the complaint number and called me back saying he will arrange for a WM replacement, and asked to mail him the cash bill of the washing machine, i had mailed it to ’’kdinesh@vgma...il.in’’, today i had again called himt o enquire about the status, he says that by 31st Dec, he will make sure either i will get a new machine or get the drum replaced, by the wasy he did mention that the Drum was yet to be despatched from the ’’Aurangabad’’ Videocon factory.
29th Dec, it will be completeing 1 month from t he day i had launched the complaint and dinesh makes it sound like he is doing me a favor by throwing an option of
Replacement, will keep you posted on the updates.

There should be a tv channel which should highlight all the genuine consumer complaints, only if we air these complaints live on tv manufacturer’s will take necessary steps.

Even till today no one from videocon has responded to the complaint, readers any suggestion as to how we can catch hold of these manufacturer's attention

Once again its rain in chennai, and am facing the same problem, same leakage is happening near the winshield area, water is dripping inside the car, took it to the service station , experts feel that the win shield needs to be cut out from the car and needs to be re-pasted from the scratch, will kee...p you guys posted on this... nothing to do with the door rubber. got that confirmed.Read More

Hi Jai,
My sympathy on your bad experience you had with Khivraj Motors, Chennai.
I totally agree with you that all mechanics in Khivraj may not be the same.
you can contact one Mr. Senthil 9841733971, he is very good customer oriented mechanic in Khivraj Motors.
Tell him that Mr.... Praveen had referred, may be you might experience the
better side. a solution!

Some time S**t happens
read this review, after buying a new car i had such problem,
where i have written to the manufacturer as well, but the response was this requires physical check of teh vehicle so pls go to the nearest maruti service station.

Few observations on this post:
Khivraj Motor:
I had complaint this problem to the Khivraj Motors, the mechanic there said this is sure indication
of water being accumulated in the fuel pump, this happens in all the diesel cars, there is for sure water content in all the diesel
and the pump nee...ds to be cleaned on a regular bases.
After the service where the fuel pump was drained fro water, i never faced this problem.
in a weeks time i had the same problem, the vehicle give me a jerky ride as i speed above 60km
Cars India:
My friend had bought his car from Cars India, he had reported a similar problem to his car mechanic, Cars India mechanic had indicated the
same symptom but, strangely he had also mentioned no need to remove the water content.
instead if you drive continuously 30Km distance the water content in the fuel pump will drain by itself.
I had tried the same by driving 20km continuously, the problem was immediately solved, i don't get the 'jerky pull'
Not sure if this is the right solution, car experts please give your views on this
