I wish if i would have employed with bajaj or atleast as their agent. Where ulips are concern i don’t think they are a bad risk, now there are more reasons why you should go with ulip, i heard that in first year the allocation is 95 % which was not the case earlier. Profits depends on what Fund you ...select, if you see any fund if not growing, then you can make a ’Fund Switch’, am doing this constantly online, Afterall we are equally responsible for not helping our funds to grow. I selected not to pay the renewal premium when the market was falling & paid when it was going up, offcourse i had to pay the penalty charges, but that is far better than loosing your hard earned money & that is how i got to earn profits. A group of people from office, say 10 odd people took this policy through a agent, & there are some 7 people out of these 10 whom i know that they have made good profits. It is unfortunate that people here only youse blogs to share negative experience & probably a less quantum of people who will actually want to share a positive one too, & this is how market / organization / product perceptions are developed. Somebody also spoke about Term Insurance, well, what i understand from this product is that you just have to give money to the insurnace, get yourself insured for a very high sum assured & expect nothing ..... ??? unless there is a death... Just pay your renewal premium & forget it, that is what it means.... do you really think you should do that.... or is this the product you are looking for.... ? Regards, Rohitaksh.Read More

Abhibhi: i completely disagree with you. to add further what anshuman has written, there is something called 'Insurable Interest' , you cannot isure a product or property which doesn't belong to you, which means the person who is paying the premium should own the product in this case the car. No ...dobt the car was insured, but the documents of the car was not on your name. You are blaming pvt. companies, infact if this same case if would have been insured with any Govt organizations even they would have rejected on the same grounds.Read More

dear bharmf: its a ulip product which means % of your premium will be invested in market, offcourse the markets has touched 20k, But you should check which fund you have selected while inveting & probably that typical fund is not growing . You also have a Fund Switch Option which will help the Fund... to Raise (if you select the right fund depending on your analysis). I've a Ulip policy with bajaj too & they have given excellent returns to me, Try Asset Allocation Fund, this is doing good now. - regards.Read More
