Skin tone seems to be fine with the 'default' profile. There might be some 'tweaking' done in the cam you tested. Else you can always shoot RAW. Standard batter is good for 500+ shots, you can get battery pack it will be a bit expensive. Lens depends on what lens you want. Its available in major ci...ties so no big problem there. Buy the cam you feel comfortable with (use/holding/user interface)Read More

Thanks Hyderabadi_Rider, sinha130. @sinha130, If I recall correctly once you enable live view from deep inside the menu, the 'Set' button will engage/dis-engage live view.

Hi Basant, I was following up via email as well. I got a replacement from LG on Saturday 27th of March. LSA3ZP5VTY1 is the model I got. It has all the other features except neo-plasma. I got a call today to fix the A/C, I’ve requested to come tomorrow. Yes you are right the dealer (Jayam & ...Co) is the real ’’bad’’ guy here. He has’t even called or did anything to resolve this at all. LG stepped in and gave it closure. Really good on LG’s part. I’m now glad I chose LG.Read More

I think I did mention why I did’t select D3000. The interface is more menu driven. Even to change a simple ISO setting you have to dive deep into the menu. These are rudimentary settings that you will need to use frequently, at first it won’t feel like a problem. However once you get familiar with... the cam it would feel like a pain to dive deep into the menu to do that would take a simple button in other cam’s. I did’t select 1000D for the live view, its next to impossible to take a shake free handheld in low light with live view on.Read More

I've purchased an LG Split A/C LSA3ZG5NTY1 Model A/C (from Jayem & Co, Chennai (Velachery Branch) on Feb 22 2010. It was delivered on Feb 24 2010. I found later that  it was made on May/2008 the dealer did not inform this fact and basically tried to pull a fast one. Its having low cooling and...Read more

Maybe you can checkout SX200 IS might be a tad over 20k. Its a so called pocket Mega zoom. Its really tough to suggest without knowing you requirement. You want a simple point and shoot ? Or do you want a cam that can let you do more ? DSLR's can be used as simple point and shoots. But lug...ging around a DSLR is no fun.Read More

Sounds good. I'd expect it to be the one with the non-IS lens. Better go for the IS lens that should be around 26-27k. Accept only sealed box.

I'm not a pro, not even an intermediate. Just a hobbyist who like to get away from the point and shoot world. I've got this camera Oct 31 2009. This marked the end of my 14 months long hunt for a DLSR. History The very first DLSR I thought I'd buy was the D40 from Nikon. If it was't for...Read more
